A superb tool.
This is a superb piece of kit. Having tried out a cheaper and more popular mitre box and bought a good quality Bahco saw to go with it I now feel that the extra money for this item is well worth it. It is far more precise and easier to use once you have set it up. As it sits on the timber, rather than the timber having to be placed on a mitre box you can use it in a wider set of jobs. The cuts made are phenomenally accurate and clean. The difference is greatest when sawing hardwoods. The other mitre box I bought was flimsy in comparison to this. This is one of the best DIY tools I have bought, if not the best.

Such a pleasure to use
For precision cuts, this saw is a joy to use. The finish on the cut is very smooth, setting up the guide is quick and easy and there is plenty of space on the base plate for clamping to keep the guide from moving around. I've used this for several different projects now, including cutting plywood at a precise angle to fit under stairs - a simple clamped guide rail was all that was needed to cut several 60cm wide boards with accuracy.Highly recommended for anyone wanting a hand tool that can be used for a variety of cutting tasks.
