Firstly, this is the first sunscreen I can use on my face. It actually helps my skin, and has not caused me to break out. Please be hesitant however, some people can be sensitive to coconut oil. But most aren't. Secondly to that yes its oily, but a little goes a long way. Can be worn under makeup but here's the catch... not perfect under all makeup. For one let it sink into the skin for a good 7-10 min before you apply. Works very well with powder foundations and concealer. I have yet to try liquid foundation because I just don't think that will work out. Also people complaining about how this wears under makeup is wild to me, it's sunscreen. It's meant to protect your skin. If that's truly what you care about just go without the makeup. If you use it daily, just find what products work with it and what don't. But this is completely clean ingredient wise so doesn't matter to me much! Hard to come by clean sunscreens like this.

I have fair skin tone, this sunblock is actually THE BEST protection I’ve ever had! Worked so well I had to refrain from putting it on so I could get some color. To come home from vaca without a cherry nose & peeling was pleasurable. It goes a very long way, no need for much. I’ll never use anything else!

It’s my first time using this brand of spf and I really like it. I have really dry face skin, but the face spf doesn’t make my skin too dry even with it being matte. It goes on really nice and leaves a thin layer with little to no smell. The body spf does leave a little shine to your skin but it’s not oily like most. I was also pleasantly surprised with the bottle sizes. Plus the non toxic ingredients put the cherry on top. Will be repurchasing.

I almost chucked this for being too oily, but then it absorbed in about 10 mins and the oiliness was gone. I saw no white cast personally. Relieved because I thought I was either going to have to sacrifice sun protection (higher zinc oxide content) for comfort, or vice versa. Until now I had been using light, matte sunscreens (Sun Bum face, Bare Republic, Australian Gold [new formula, not the old orange spackle paste]) but then I started worrying that there was no way AG was getting 30, 50 and 70 SPF ALL with 4 or 5% zinc (and roughly the same of titanium). No matter what their formula is, I don't see how they could be making 3 different SPFs with that much range, all with the same (tiny) amount of zinc. Then I realized that all of the mineral sunscreens that people were raving about the feel, wear and look of all had a low quantity of zinc (sometimes augmented with chemical sunscreens snuck in) and all of the ones with (adequate) higher zinc quantities were ones people complained of texture, white cast, a readability, thickness, etc. This one seems like a favorable compromise though.

Rubbed in well and didn’t leave a white cast. The face cream left my skin feeling really soft as well.

This sunscreen should be illegal. We had high hopes based on the short ingredient list and high zinc percentage. However, it doesn't block the sun at all. It went on much smoother than other mineral sunscreens, which we thought was nice (albeit a little greasy), but that should have been a sign. My wife is FRIED. She put it on before we went out in the sun, but it seems to have done nothing at all. She used a different mineral sunscreen brand on her chest and didn't burn there, but everywhere she put Badger is totally red. Epic fail. Do not buy this "sunscreen". She wears a big hat in the sun and you can literally see a line on her back where the shade from the hat was, and I personally sunsceeened her entire back with a lot of Badger. It just didn't work. What an expensive way to get sunburn.

This sunscreen goes on smooth and has a good feel to it. If you don't rub it in completely it can leave a white tint to your skin. It does not have any scent so I think that is a plus

I give Badger five stars for their quality ingredients. However, the ingredients in the tube seem to separate and it is hard to get it thoroughly blended. So I hope that I am receiving the proper SPF protection.
