ATS Thermal Bypass Valve Upgrade — excellent quality and worth the money. The parts feel solid and well-built, and the install was straightforward with no headaches. After installing it, it worked exactly as designed and I noticed a clear temperature drop right away, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Everything fit properly, sealed up fine, and I haven’t had any leaks or issues since. I was impressed enough with the performance and overall build quality that I went ahead and purchased a second one. If you’re on the fence, this is one of those upgrades that actually delivers real results. Highly recommended.

Good for your truck
Got this for my 2021 RAM 3500 with a 68RFE trans. This bolted in very easily. My trans temps are 15 to 20 degrees lower than with the stock thermal valve. I'm in North Carolina so no real concerns about having to warm up from extremely low temps. I highly recommend this upgrade.

Pay attention
I returned this as it really is designed for 2019 and newer. I have a 2017 Ram with Aisin and this would have been a pain to install as the body is shaped differently and lines off of the transmission are rigid. Manufacturer lists this as fitting earlier models, but I disagree. Other manufacturers have two different parts listed.

Save your overheating transmission from certain death!
100% compatible and easy to install. It's literally about a 10-15 minute job. This definitely improves fluid flow out to the cooler, which is absolutely critical to keeping your transmission cool When towing especially on hot days. Can save your transmission! I consider this a 100% absolutely necessary thing to do if you're running a stock 68RFE transmission. I would also recommend a trans cooler upgrade. I learned all this on my last truck going through two transmission rebuilds. This company has a great video on You Tube showing how to install it. Recommend.

This should be your first modification!
This product works as advertised. I wouldn't run a Ram with the 68RFE without one. This should be the first thing you do after purchasing one.

Product leaks company won’t stand behind product admitted there was a problem with it wanted me to buy one from them and return this one to Amazon even tho this is their product do not buy get something else
