I've only used it about 3 times now, but for me it makes an almost perfect "egg over medium", (with a runny yoke). I've found if I take the egg out as soon as the timer goes off, it leaves a bit of the white not quite done, so I unplug it (no on/off button), but leave the egg in for another 30ish seconds. I do use a light coat of oil but I might try it without oil. The only draw back for me is it takes about 4 minutes to cook my egg. Otherwise, it's compact & super easy to use. I did take out an additional warranty after seeing some reviews that claim it quit working early on. *It is a bit pricey at $42.80, but worth it for convenience.
