it is a convenient diagnostic dongle with bluetooth connection. Plug and play, not a lot settings. it can be use to monitor engine oil life, average fuel consumption, and brake pad life, also supports commonly performed DIY service functions, such as oil reset, battery registration, and wipers replacement. it works good on my Ford F-150 so far. It has ablity to Test hybrid and electric vehicle power battery, I'll find a chance to try this

Upon connection to app, device was already “bound” to another device. Worthless. Amazon sent a replacement and it has the same issue. Autel will not help you. They just tell you to return it to Amazon. If you buy one of these, you’ll probably get one of the non-useable units I returned. The cycle continues because Autel has a bad system and Amazon takes returns from dishonest people who buy these, use them, and return them.

It meets all my needs, read the fault code, view live data, tells me the meaning of it and give me a suggestion for repairing. it states that it is able to test the battery of EVs, I will try this function someday.lovely and convenient obd dongle

Very disappointing experience with the Autel MaxiAP AP2500 (Upgraded AP200 series). I tested this scanner on three different vehicles: Kia Sportage 2024, Opel Insignia 2012, and VW Golf 2011. All of these cars are known to have multiple stored fault codes. Despite this, the scanner did not show a single error on any of them. Bluetooth connection worked fine and the app connected to all vehicles without issues. I also had an active paid subscription for the Kia Sportage 2024, so lack of vehicle support was not the problem. The device simply failed to read any diagnostic trouble codes. A diagnostic tool that cannot detect existing errors is useless. Based on my experience, this product does not perform its most basic function and I cannot recommend it.

It has useful functions like health reports, maintenance adivces, TSB/recall information, and tell you engine oil life, average fueal consumption, and brake pad life. Great OBD scan tool for my Chevrolet Silverado.
