This is a great set of six colourful sand timers which are bigger than I expected. All six sand timers come in a cardboard box with each individually packed in a bubble wrap bag. There are six timers in different colours and each is worth a different amount of minutes. There’s a timer for 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes and 30 minutes. Each of the timers has a different colour and a small sticker on top and bottom telling you how much time it is worth along with a plus and minus symbol and 10% written alongside it. This is because these timers are not super accurate and while testing them I have found that they are generally accurate but seem to always finish within a few seconds short or past the time they are supposed to last.The timers are made of plastic and I like how the colour of the sand inside reflects the colour of the sand timer itself. The hourglass shape is protected with round plastic and the whole timer is made of plastic but feels a decent quality. They are also much bigger than I expected with each one fitting into my palm feeling almost like a lifting sports weight in how chunky they are (though of course they are very lightweight).I’ve so far tested the 1 minute, 3 minute and 5 minute timers a few times to double check their timing against a stopwatch and the 1 minute timer for me was always around 7 seconds more than a minute. The 3 minute timer finished 3 seconds too early and the 5 minute timer about 5/6 seconds too long. So these sand timers aren’t 100% perfectly accurate, hence that +-10% written on them, but if you don’t mind a few seconds here and there, they are still a good set of timers to get and a great way of using a timer if you want to stop relying on technology for keeping track of how long something takes. A fun set of timers I plan on using in some family/board games me and my family play and create. :)
