The base has a nice weight to it, and the magnetic/anti-slip bottom actually works. When I tap the screen to snooze an alarm or skip a song, the whole thing doesn't slide across the table. It feels planted.Fit & DesignIt fits the 3rd Gen perfectly. It doesn't look like a weird, bulky aftermarket attachment; it looks like part of the device. I purchased this for my echo show five it fits perfectly and I like the fact that I can swivel it left or right I can push it up or down. It’s great. I love it. The appearance is cute. The stability is great, the size it’s not too big. It doesn’t get in the way. I can fit it in the palm of my hand and it was an ease to install. . This Echo show stand allows me to place my device on the kitchen counter and now I can swivel the echo show so that I can see it while cooking or entertaining. A adhesive is provided to safely keep the stand on the counter . This stand loos so good that many of my friends thought it was all one piece. If you own a Echo Show this stand should be on your shopping list!

Would buy again . Perfect for on our island

This stand works great for the Echo Show 5 3rd Gen. I had previously ordered one from another brand and that one did not sit flat and wobbled, so I had to return it. This one is a significant improvement. It firmly attaches to the Echo Show and allows the Echo to be tilted and swiveled. It does swivel pretty easily and makes a clicking noise when swiveled, which some people may find annoying, but it works just fine for me and will be a keeper. Of note, the range of swivel is about 270 degrees and does not allow you to turn it all the way around.A metal plate is included with an adhesive side to stick it to another device so you can use this base with something other than an Echo Show. Personally I found it silly as I'm not going to be using this base with anything other than my Echo Show and when the time comes for me to replace my Echo with a new one that doesn't fit this base, I still don't think I'd use it.

Just as described, sleek and easy to use.

Most times, you get what you pay for. Sometimes more, other times less. This unit is OK for the price. It is white plastic that matches the SHOW nicely. Footprint is about the same size. That said, it is pretty light in weight, being plastic. No comparison to the stand for my SHOW 8 ( metal with rare earth magnets); but this stand was half that price. I had to tighten up the mount screw a bit, but it's all good. Can't say if it is any better, or worse than other offerings. I liked it enough to keep it.
