Only needed 4, does *not* fit the railing we have (100-year-old home) and the adjustable bracket feet scratched the new paint job we had done just 2 weeks ago. Good thing they left us the remaining paint.

Work great for porch railing.

The first image shows them with a bracket that would allow it to hang on to a wide deck railing or something like it, but that's not what you receive. As it stands, these will not hold anything, theyll just fall off even without any weight on them. I didn't realize this until the return window had already closed

These are great! They can be flipped or adjusted to meet your needs. They come with extra attachments so you can assemble them exactly how you want them. Size is great for a variety of ledges. I used them for flower beds on my front porch ledge. They function exactly as they should. They are worth the price and I feel it’s a fair price.

Have cedar planters I made and some planters purchased that are made to fit over the railing (not the best in wind). These holders can be made larger or smaller to fit the different planters. They aren't hard to install and seem very sturdy. They hold the planters lever with the railing, so the planters are easier to water.
