First time I have attempted a soft top install. From what I read online, it should take about 4 hours. I was able to complete the install in 2.5 hours. Pretty simple procedure. Online video’s help supplement the provided instructions. Looks great, easy to open and close.

This is the 3rd Jeep I've installed Alien sunshades on. Great quality and easy install. I recommend them highly.

Order/delivery: No Issues. This product was delivered with no issues. all parts were accounted for in the manufacturers packing (including the little green Alien).Installation: The installation of the front sunshade took approximately 20 minutes. This would have been significantly reduced had I removed the full hard top prior to installation. The sunshade came with a QR code link to an installation video which clearly explained how to install with no issues. There can be a small learning curve for the types of bungee straps used. Installation would be much easier with full top off and an extra set of hands, but neither are necessary. I simply paused the video prior to beginning of the following step without any difficulty.Fitment: The front sunshade as described on the website and in photos online with no major gaps on any one side.Quality. The bungee straps held together with no issue. The screen and grommets remained intact after full load from all bungees was placed on the sunshade. I performed a test drive up to about 50 mph to ensure the sunshade would not flap in the wind. The shade was taught all the way around with no vibration or flapping noted.Overall: This appears to be a quality product. I had no issues with installation or first use. I would recommend rolling down all windows prior to start, because if the bungee slips it COULD have enough force to break the door glass.

I was really excited to get this shade for my Jeep until the moment it arrived. When I heard the doorbell ring I ran to the door and grabbed the package from the UPS driver and quickly retreated into the garage to install it. Little did I know that the next couple hours of my life would be fraught with angst and pain.I quickly but gingerly opened the package only to be accosted by several hundred green pieces of paper which I thought were bugs of some sort- of course I reacted by tossing the box into the air, which only served to shower me with these pseudo caterpillars. Once I was able to compose myself, I opened the packaging to assess the product itself. It appeared well made and durable enough to last a long time so I was relatively releaved, until I read the instructions which are very poorly written and not very clear. I attempted to interpret their meaning and vague dialog, only to become more and more frustrated as I kept snapping myself in the face with the bungee balls. As I was cursing and kicking around the million green paper caterpillars that covered my garage floor, my wife came home and commented on my failure to complete such a seemingly simple task. I took this as a slight against my manhood, so I grabbed a bungee ball and threw it towards her face. It struck her right in her left eye, which promptly swelled shut. As she was screaming in pain, she began to kick and flail around, disturbing the paper caterpillars which I had forgotten about as I was seriously concerned that I was going back to prison. As I became more and more upset that I was being accosted by paper death bugs, I also started to flail around again, this time kicking the small rubber alien toy that is included in the packaging. It struck the sunshade at a velocity that I can only describe as David Beckhamish and ricocheted towards my wife’s face, hitting her in the right eye. At that moment a police officer drove by and heard the commotion and he responded with an urgency and intent to take someone out. At this point my wife had fallen to her knees and was screaming in pain, and I was angrily yelling and kicking all the bugs on the floor- the result of which caused my foot to land squarely into my wife’s knee as the officer approached. Since he witnessed this and assumed I was attacking my wife, he drew his taser to subdue me. He began yelling commands but I was unable to hear him because my ears were clogged with green paper worms. As a result of my non compliance, he was forced to taze me and I am writing this post from a hospital bed while one hand is handcuffed to a gurney.My wife texted me a few moments ago and said she was able to get it installed easily, and that it worked great while she was on her way to the Optomotrist to get fitted for her new glass eye. So I give this 4 stars for quality and ease of installation. I am deducting 1 Star because I got tazed and will most likely spend all summer in Jail.

Read a few reviews on fitment and complications of installation, and instructions.... but decided to order based on the other reviews. I always screw something up but this is easy for me and my 2016 Wrangler. Instructions were clear, read the cards and follow them. The cards have a picture for sequence of attaching the bungees along with the written instructions. Some YouTube videos are a little confusing but check them also and just follow the instruction card. You'll be happy. Set the shade in the sun for a half hour so it will stretch a little easier. Don't worry. If I can do it, then anyone can do it. The two front corners of the FRONT shade are not as tight as the rest but it is not an issue
