Perfect works as advertised

I placed it in a 40-gallon reef tank, and upon returning from vacation, I discovered that the equipment had stopped working. Despite sufficient water in the reservoir, the pump failed to function properly. The salinity of the tank rose, resulting in damage to all my corals—an extremely steep price to pay! Multiple attempts to restart the system were unsuccessful; it truly was a subpar product.

As far as the pump and sensor are concerned, it works very well and the magnetic mounts for the sensor and hose line are both fantastic. The big problem with this equipment is the included check valve ia absolute trash. No matter how the check valve is oriented, it does not prevent a back siphon and sprays water all over the floor. I have a rimmed 29 gallon tank and keeping the hose above the water line is completely impossible. So this unit for me is completely unusable until I can source an actual check valve of the proper size. If you buy this unit and need to use check valve, order one that actually works as well and throw the one included in the box in the garbage.

I like it it works good just the pump is to small it don’t bring the water up to the tank from the floor I was lucky to have a bigger pump that fit and I’m using it.
