I ordered the Phenyx Pro 4 Channel XLR Cable snake for my recording studio that is under construction. I am putting together a new desk and want to eliminate any need to mess with cables during the recording process. I aim to have all channels wired into patch bays and this cord will provide 4 channels. After testing the cable snake with my portable travel system, I found the cables to provide clean and noise-free signals, poor quality cables can introduce cable noise. I tested multiple mic chains and guitar chains with the snake and had no signal-to-noise ratio issues. The cable is constructed well and if used properly should last a long time.
