Beautiful, simple and touching.
I love this poem. I love listening to her perform it on Ted Talks and I love reading this book. Just gifted it to a friend who recently had a daughter - I hope she likes it as much as I do.

Wonderful
This is a truly wonderful poem created by a truly wonderful poet. It is a must have for any poetry fan. Sarah Kay's performances are amazing and inspiring, as soon as I realised there was a print version of this book I had to have a copy and it makes a lovely gift for mothers, daughters, friends and family. I recommend it! I can't wait for her other book to be released in March 2014. The price is more than fair, for what you get, considering how expensive most things are these days, it's worth every penny.

Sarah Kay says everything we wish we had the words for - and the illustrations lift the heart!
'B' ( aka - 'Should I have daughter') makes us think what we should tell - or should have told - our children. It's a statement of absolute love.... an affirmation of belief and hope for our children. It is our resilience, honesty and determination to explore life. Please listen to Sarah Kay live [easily found on TED] - she's a Spoken Word Poet .... and we're meant to hear her.

I bought 5 copies so far...
I first saw Sarah Kay perform this beautiful poem on her TED talk (TED.COM). I was touched, moved and inspired. I realised that I needed to give my friends a copy after telling them about how wonderful the poem was, it just seemed cruel not to.

Beautiful
Sarah Kay was the first spoken word poet I ever heard and I've been listening ever since. at the risk of sounding like an English literature essay, she provides interesting imagery with a rhythm that is a pleasure to listen to.

Just beautiful!
Beautifully written, lovely illustrations. I sit and read this with my 8 year and it has ignited a passion for poetry in her.

Beautiful
This poem is so beautiful, and the presentation compliments it without being distracting. Sarah Kay is an awesome poet and I hope they are many more books to come!
