Brilliant kettle and no plastic inside! Exactly what I wanted. Works well and looks good.

Kettle not working after few months
Kettle looks nice. But after few months of using it it stopped working completely. I cannot contact seller. Overall the kettle quality is good and looks sturdy. Only the boiling water button is plastic .. and it stopped working.. probably burnt.

Love the style, finish and colour
It's not too noisy and looks stylish in my kitchen. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks but, thus far, I'm very happy with it :)

Stylish and solid
This looks so nice in real life. When I saw it online I wondered if the design was a bit gimmicky but it actually just looks lovely. The 'beige' style is just a really nice cream colour, as I'd hoped. The handle is a solid-feeling plastic and the powder coating feels like it will last a lot better than our last kettle, where every surface possible peeled off within its 2-year life span. It doesn't exactly boil at the speed of light but I don't really care about that—just wanted something that looks nice and is decent enough quality to last a while. Love it.

Beautiful looking kettle
This kettle looks nice but it is really cheaply made. Firstly the lid does not fit well and sticks when you try to pull it off. Secondly, it's noisy and takes a long time to boil. Thirdly, the surface scratches easily and when trying to remove a mark with a light scouring sponge, it took off the paintwork. Lastly, fitting it back on the centre is tricky - it somehow never finds the centre easily and you have fiddle about to get it on. Very disappointing purchase and I have already replaced after only three months with a kettle that did not cost much more and is a superior quality. I would add that I am elderly and have had many kettles in my 50 years of marriage and never encountered a product like this.

Plastic free!!!
I went to PC Curry the other day to look for a plastic free kettle but all the kettles on display had plastic elements inside. Even the glass ones had a plastic top or spout. I’m amazed that, in this day and age, people are still comfortable eating from heated plastic containers and drinking water from kettles with plastic components. This kettle is 100% plastic-free on the inside and has a stylish design—exactly what I was looking for.

Lovely design
Good kettle and chosen for its design which looks great , but not that practical as I can’t get hand inside when cleaning fur away. No guage for amount of water unlike my other kettles, other than a ‘max’ level inside the kettle. A bit noisy, but quick boiling

Does not reach boiling point before shutting off
The kettle I was sent does not boil water to a high enough temperature to make normal black tea. I had a second kettle, and tested them both in parallel with the same amount of water. The Ascot kettle shut off quicker than the other kettle, but it shut off before the water reached a rapid boil. After the other kettle also shut-off having reached a rapid boil maybe 30 second later, I poured each into a tea mug with a tea bag. Having brewed the tea, the flavour difference and also temparature difference was clear. I could hold my hand over the Ascot boiled water without a buring sensation from the steam. From the other kettle, I would quickly feel steam buring me. Also, the tea brewed from the Ascot water was bland and flavourless, as the water had clearly not been hot enough. Whereas, from the second kettle, the tea had a full flavour as I would expect from properly boiled water. This is a very disappointing result given the high price of this kettle. I will be seeking compensation or replacement from the seller since I believe I have been sent a faulty Ascot kettle.
