This thing is GREAT! I'll admit I got it as a gag gift for my husband because he's an amazing cook but hates the way his rice turns out. I expected it to never be used. Boy was I wrong. It is used on a daily basis and its a simple and easy rice cooker. It seems like no matter what my husband does to the white rice, its seems to come out sticky and fluffy (really great in my opinion) and does brown rice like a champ! It can also easily handle things like steaming broccoli (or other veggies) and we've tried hardboiled eggs. All around this thing is simple, small, and effective! I really thought I was getting a gag gift but here we are able to say that it does hold up and work really well so totally worth the purchase!

My husband loves rice but hates the wait of cooking it and I do. This little rice maker is a Jem. He read the direction hit the button and checked it around 15 minutes later and it was on warm. It was done. It makes a good four cups and rice comes out great. The little pan it is in is so easy to pull out and clean and just put back in. This is one of the best kitchen items I have gotten. After a week of using this, I bought 4 more for Christmas presents and will include the rice. It is the perfect size for the two of us and we have leftovers which I use in a day or two for a stir fry. Do not hesitate to get this item. So easy to use, the cook time is great, the rice comes out perfect. My sister owned a restaurant in Santa Fe, and she said this brand was the same brand they used in their upper scale restaurant.

When I unpacked the rice cooker, it wouldn’t turn on. There was nothing I could do to convince the button to stay switched to “cook”. I reached out directly to Aroma support but they took a while to get back to me, and in the meantime husband had a tinker around with it. It turned out that the middle of the heating element that pressed down when the inner bowl is in place needed to be adjusted and turned just a little (with the thing unplugged, make good choices folks!), and we were finally in business. I feel this type of information could be included in the troubleshooting section of the manual, it seems like something that probably happens often. When support got back to me, the follow up questions they asked didn’t have much to do with the problem or the fix, but whatever it’s fixed now. It works well, washes nicely. The manual doesn’t give any info about water ratios of anything other than rice, so although it can handle multiple types of grains, it doesn’t tell you how to cook them. I have found that many packages have that info on them though, and it’s typically the same ratio as stove top cooking. Bonus points for a cute colour and a delightfully small countertop footprint. The inner bowl and lid seem to go happily through the dishwasher, though I recommend drying the bowl as soon as possible.

Cooks rice really well and fast for two people. So handy and affordable especially if you live in a studio or apartment. Easy to move and put away and doesn't take up a lot of space. Makes the rice perfect everytime. I wish I got it sooner! No issues at all.

This rice cooker is fast and effective. It’s perfect for couples and solo cooking. Fresh rice done well every time.

Final verdict: If you want a rice cooker that’s adorable, dependable, and secretly incredibly useful, get this one. The sugar-sweet colors alone are worth it, but the convenience makes it a tiny powerhouse. I can’t believe something this cute is also this competent. I needed a rice cooker asap and was worried about its quality since this one is very affordable, but it has been working great! It's been 4 months since I started using it, and it has had no problems so far. It's easy to clean, doesn't taste bad. The only thing is that the size is fairly small, so perfect for one person but not for a family.

Not for use in U.K. wrong plug and incorrect voltage. Only plus in this saga was the painless returns process. Hats off to the supplier.

It's small does not take much space in Your countertop, but cooks a perfect two cups a rice .Very easy to operate.

The first thing I made was a giant pancake in the rice cooker. Turned out perfect. Then I made rice. That was good too. Easy to clean and doesn’t take up much space. Perfect for one person.
