Not sure what's going on with the packaging, it totally doesn't match what's inside. But that doesn't matter, the set is complete. We just finished building the T-Rex. Lots and lots of small pieces, takes some patience to find the piece you need often, but that's part of doing legos. Pieces fit well together, fit and finish is good, peace quality is high, build is sturdy.

Kids from the 90's might pick up on the Zoids vibes, and I love it.This set was really fun to build. It took four or five hours total, and I'm an experienced builder.The brick quality is excellent. It feels pretty much exactly like The name brand.The design is excellent as well. It's articulate, yet sturdy. Like, you can put this on a shelf for display, or tromp through a battlefield mowing down mini figs.My only complaint is the bags are not numbered, and you have to open all of them right from the start. You're going to need a large tray to put all of the parts in, and a healthy amount of patience to sift through them all.I didn't build the Mech or the Bull, and although I think the Bull looks really neat I felt that the main attraction was the Rex.

I just finished this set and was pleasantly surprised. A lot of the clones don't have the same quality as the name brands, but this one is sturdy, has some cool pieces, and is a (mostly) solid build. I've only built one of the designs but it's cool that you can make three different ones with the same set. The instructions are clear for the most part. The pieces come in a bunch of different bags but there's no clear organization to it, so sometimes it takes time to find the right ones. I primarily had issues finding/distinguishing some of the similar colors when the light was not very good.I only encountered two issues. One, the hose piece (shown in picture) got stamped on the end when the bag was sealed. It doesn't really work the right way in that condition. Second, I could NOT find a piece in the right color (blue) but had an extra one in grey. It's possible that I used the wrong one somewhere but I think that's highly unlikely. I was able to find a spot where the grey looked just fine so you don't even notice it's supposed to be blue, but it did present an unexpected challenge, because of course I didn't KNOW that I'd have an extra grey one until I got done with the set.Overall, happy with this set and I'm looking forward to building one of the other models with it sometime in the future.

My son loves to build legos and play with his toys like his dinosaurs. This set combines the two which leads for hours of play time for him. He loves to build one version play with it for a bit, destroy it and then build the next one in the set and so on. He does this until he likes his favorite and keeps it built as is. This set is cool since its a blend of animal/mech. My sin lives it so much. The blicks are compatible with his others so he will have use for them after the builds eventually get broken upm great for a gift for the holidays or for a rainy day

I selected this building block kit based on its uniqueness of being able to change between a Dinosaur and a robot which adds extra value to a kit such as this one that can be manipulated in several ways. I appreciated the vibrant coloring of the blocks which was attractive. The blocks had a good weight and feel to each one and I found that they were easy to handle and put together. When assembling, the referenced building guide was necessary to make correct block placement and I liked that this book was written and illustrated well to allow me to accomplish this task. I appreciated the durability of the ABS plastic blocks and noted that they would not fall off the model when installed. This is a nice value for the money building block kit and very giftable. I am pleased with this selection.

This dinosaur building kit has 811 pieces. Many pieces are very tiny so I would keep away from toddlers. You can make three figures and they all have moveable parts. There is a very detailed instruction booklet included. This will be a gift for a 7 year old who loves LEGOs and dinosaurs so a perfect gift. He is pretty adept at putting together small LEGO sets as he has many but for some kids help may be required. A great kit for a reasonable price.

This kit is weird, and confusing. On the box is a robot, and not even the robot you make. Silliness aside, the pieces fit together nicely and the instruction are easy to follow. I love that there's three different builds, especially for the price point. A solid buy.
