A Great 3rd Brake light!
The media could not be loaded. I had some mixed feelings before purchasing this unit. Some of the reviews talked about how cheap the plastic was, how it flashed when you were activating a turn signal, which is all true. One of the things they talked about was how short the wiring was. What I discovered was a lot of the wiring was inside the housing and you could pull it out to make it longer. I even did a video on this to show you. 15 LEDs are bright and they are really much better than the eight LED one that I had. One little trick that I highly recommend is don't have the wire touching the metal too much because the metal will get hot in the sun and cause the insulation to melt a little bit as it did with my other unit. It's not a high quality unit, but it looks fine and I believe it's going to work perfectly as it does right now. Itplugged into my receptacle without any problems at all. Very easy to install. Looks somewhat water resistant. Material is plastic.

Very Thin Wires, Does Not Follow Color Code for Trailer Hitch Connector
The colors on the connector don't follow the color code for hitch connectors, but if you have a four pin hitch connector the wires are all in the proper position. If you have a five or seven pin hitch connector then you'll have to do some modifications.I replaced a broken hitch light that also had an integrated back-up light and used five wires (the fifth wire is for the back-up lights).I didn't care that this unit lacked the back-up light, but I had to put the matching connector to what was already on the vehicle, which meant taking the connector off the old unit and soldering and heat-shrinking it to the new unit. The wires on this light are very thin, about 22 AWG, while the wires on the stub of the old connector were about AWG 16. It was difficult to solder them together but I managed. The light is very loose in the trailer hitch and it uses a cotter pin which makes it difficult to remove when you want to connect something else to the trailer hitch, like a bike rack or other carrier (or an actual trailer).I turned it 90 degrees and drilled a hole through the plastic the mounted it into the hitch with a 1/4" bolt, two fender washers, and a lock nut.The wires inside are soldered directly to a printed circuit board with the LEDs and it looks very fragile.

Works great but wire is little short about 12”.
Works great as it described in the post. Give people behind cautious when you’re braking or turning. One down side is the wire is about 6-8” short to the plug (Toyota 4Runner). Have to extend the wires, but works great afterward.
