This is a replacement headband for the Sony WH-1000XM3 by SOULWIT. In the box the replacement headband also comes with a screwdriver, a spadger to prise open the old band and some parts to replace the original items. The instructions for doing this are relatively straight forward and are easy to read and follow. All the tools do come in useful for removing the old headband the new headband clips back into place on the headset. The new headband appears well made and very similar to the original. Overall I was very happy with the replacement headband as my was falling apart due to extensive usage and this is a fine replacement especially for the competitive price as well.

Follow the instructions and,voila, renewed xm3s. Fitted the same make ear pads at the same time, and I really can recommend them. Back to their former, perished pu leather, glory. Happy.

I recently purchased this Replacement Headband Pad Kit for my trusty Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones, which have been my go-to companion during long train rides and busy days. As time went on, the original headband cushioning started to show its age, leaving me with a flimsy and uncomfortable fit. This replacement kit caught my eye because it promised an easy DIY installation process, which I appreciated. The product description mentioned using 3D printing technology to replicate the original headband shape, which made me hopeful that it would be a seamless fit. I'm thrilled to say that my experience with this product exceeded my expectations! The installation was indeed easy – simply snapping the internal hook into place – and the results were impressive. I am a general fan of SOULWIT products - I have a number of headphones that have needed pads and headbands to be replaced - I love the headband parts that snap into place around the framework - no need to have messy Velcro or pop-studs to hold the replacement in place - they appear to have cornered the market of having a headband for almost any model of headphone. I am sure this one is no exception but I made an error in ordering and picked the wrong one for review and I cannot return it under the Vine Review program - so while I cannot comment on the suitability of this particular headband replacement, based on others I have used, I do not expect this to be a problem.

Although, I do currently own a pair of Sony XM3 headphones, I am not in a position where I would need to replace the headband and therefore I can only rate certain aspects about the product itself. Pros: ------ - Comes with all the necessary tools - A set of instructions with useful pictures of each step is provided - Headband size is similar to the original headband on the Sony XM3s Cons: ------- - The headband material feels cheap - The extra thick padding could impact headphones stability, when placed on the head Conclusion: -------------- I will update this review with my actual experience using this product, when it is time for the original headband on my Sony XM3s to be replaced.

Incredible product! It is not that hard to replace and it looks and feels great.

I materiali sono ottimi, uguali se non qualcosina di meglio dei pezzi originali delle cuffie, la spugna è bella morbida e non dà fastidio. Procedura di montaggio era alquanto semplice ma ci è richiesto del tempo se si usa il foglio con le istruzioni che ti aiuta coi passaggi (circa 20 minuti). L'unica pecca leggera da come si vede nella foto è che la pelle non entra e rimane fuori e mi da un po' fastidio, anche perché penso che così col passare del tempo si rovina tramite sudore e attrito, ma spero di no. Molti sanno come me che a molti marchi piace incollare pezzi dove non c'è bisogno, ciò rende il riparo un po' una frustrazione, il che potrebbe portare al prodotto di rovinarsi quando si vuole cambiare/rimpiazzare un pezzo. Ma con questo prodotto quel fastidio non c'è più se ci si vuole cambiare di nuovo il pezzo dopo parecchi anni, praticamente ci sono dei clip che si attaccano da sotto e in sù ed è una buona "invenzione", il ché rende il montaggio e il rimpiazzo più facile e meno stressante. :)

The installation process is super simple, the package even includes a prying tool and a small screwdriver. The foam is nice and comfortable, I don't really see any difference from the original pad. My headphones look and feel as good as new.
