Stand Assist Mobility Tool Adjustable Standing Aid Device for Seniors, Sofa Stand Assist, Device to Help Get Up from Floor

I am 82 years old and will retire next month! I have not been very active lately and have lost a lot of muscle mass, and getting up from the floor, after a minor fall, is tough without a helping hand. Using this does help, I have a couple in the house just in case!!!They seem to work well on tile or wood flooring, I have no carpets to try but I think it would work just fine. Your best friend (husband or wife) will applaud you for buying a couple of these as they will not have to worry so much about you when they are not home!!Definitely recommended for most seniors!!!!

It's beautifully made and it does the job but will it be nearby if you have a senior fall? Then why not grab a table leg and pull yourself up .(Remember daily to strengthen your hands and arms gripping rails and banisters when ever you go up and down). But it seems like in the garden or a project in the house it would be great to have it with you. Never fall backwards.

At 83, I have trouble getting up and down. This has truly been a blessing for me. I can be more independent and struggle less by using this about twice a day. I carry it from room to room and will soon order a second one. It is awesome and I recommend that every aging adult buy one. It is sturdy and easy to use.

This won't help you pick yourself up after falling in the kitchen, or whaterever. With a cabinet door, or something stationary to hold on to, along with this device, you could pull yourself up, but I don't see how it would help me if I fell in the bedroom with nothing to counterbalance my weight (180 lbs.) A nd very weak arms and legs. I've used the stick once, trying to stand up after sitting on the floor toe retrieve something out of a very deep cabinet. It was sturdy but not very convenient taking it room to room.I've kept my stick because it does help when I'm down. The 3 stars represent it not meeting my expectations. Like so many items made to aid the elderly, it's black and looks very utilitarian. If they offered the stick in different colors, I'd prefer to have one of those. Brighten and cheer the day! If I DYI and paint mine, I'll send a picture. This could be fun!

I bought this because after a failed back fusion, I can no longer get up off the floor. I thought this would really help me I tried it in different rooms, kneeling on both knees, kneeling in one knee, and even laying on my back as if I fell. It didn’t work for anything. It is useless and it wobbles when I try to use it to get up. I do not recommend this if you cannot get up off the floor.

Not very heavy and seems unstable. It did not help me when I fell in the house.

This little gadget is perfect for my husband to get up from the couch and also the disable chair when he takes a shower. I recommend this highlight

This extra support is great for assisting us old folks in getting up and down. My knees don’t work so well and this very helpful.
