GeeekPi 8U Server Cabinet, 10 inch Server Rack for Network, Servers, Audio, and Video Equipment, DeskPi RackMate T1 Rackmount

I have been looking for something like this for years. The rack is high quality, and there are endless amounts of plates online to modify or 3D print. Very happy!

The rack is nice and sturdy. Very flexible in what you can do with it, and tons of accessories are available.All the machined parts fit together perfectly and the quality is evident.The 8U rack has plenty of space for a patch panel, gateway, router, PiHole, MoCA adapter, smart home controller, and all the associated power power delivery.It dramatically cleaned up my leaning tower of routers, switches, and other networking gear into a much smaller space.I even had a couple of suggestions and requests for spare parts, and the company has been extremely friendly and responsive, typically replying in under 24 hours!

Overall, a very nice rack. It is well engineered where the pieces fit well and is such that it would be difficult to install any parts the wrong way. The holes are situated in a way that force you to align everything properly. Nice metal pieces and the screws install into the metal parts well and I had no issues with the screws threading into the other parts.A couple of nit-picks. The screws were all present and accounted for but came in mixed bags making the initial parts inventory more tedious than it needed to be. It would also be nice if they labeled the bags to make identification quicker. Once you get started the rack was easy to assemble.I would also like to see a more barebones version offered without the specialized pieces such as the micro HDMI to HDMI adapter and the SBC shelf. I don't need either part as I will be using shelves and 1U rack parts only. I would have liked to use the money saved on not having those two parts to put towards a couple more 1U shelfs since this rack comes with only 1 shelf.Finally, shipping. I can't speak for shipping now but these were shipped from China and took weeks to arrive. Given the popularity of this rack one would think they would stock quantities of them in the USA for faster shipping. Amazon is not going to get this to you in 2 days. You're going to wait, especially if you want the black version vs the black and silver.All in all, I am happy with my purchase and can recommend this rack at least on quality and ease of assembly if not the price tag as outfitted in the box.

Love being able to consolidate my network gear and small computers. The rack is high quality and easy to assemble.

Good rack.However, when it arrived, I unboxed it, two corners on the top had cracks and the top was bent in the middle. The box and shipping package was not bent or damaged. This leads me to believe the cracks were a factory. defect.3rd time posting this review.

This is a nice little rack, but for the money it's got some quirks I don't like.I understand that #10-32 is the standard for 19" rack screws, but this is a 10" rack and it's really annoying that the kit only comes with enough for the included accessories. It's $150, and you can't throw in an extra 20 screws and washers?I really wish the whole thing used m4 hardware, it's so frustrating having to have a pile of screws only for this project, not to mention if you 3d print anything with a thick faceplate you're gonna need a variety pack.It's also pretty lame how there isn't a great way to seal the thing up to force airflow with fans, I get that most things that live in a 10" rack aren't that high heat, but there isn't even an accessory sold to accomplish this.

Awesome build quality. Smaller than I thought but that is the point of this server rack. Not a dent, scratch or issue to be found. I recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. At around $150.00 the price point isn’t exactly budget-friendly but this rack has been nothing short of excellent.I’ve got 4 pi’s mounted using geekpi’s rack mount. The build is coming along great and has been an awesome project since seeing Jeff Geerlings YouTube videos.Definitely glad I waited on a server rack because this is a lot better and can always be added to later on.Would I buy it again? Yes, in fact I plan on getting the 4U soon.Would I recommend it? Definitely, if you’re in the market for a mini lab rack look no further.
