Really good, ignore the negative reviews!
I've had these for a while now, around half a year and they are really good! I rate them and I'd recommend them (especially when on sale!) I use these for gym and running so have created this review for others looking for a good pair of earphones for the same purpose primarily. Let's look at the pros and cons Pros: - Sound quality: These do have really good sound quality, don't be fooled by others reviews. Are they the best money can buy....no.....however you're not paying hundreds for these. High volume and really nice crisp sounds, they do cancel noise really well as a bonus. It doesn't make it completely silent but really does dull it down quite a surprising amount. These are loud, ignore the reviews that say otherwise they clearly have hearing damage, I usually have these on half volume with a samsung s25 and it's more than enough, sometimes up above that but only by a bit, full volume is just uncomfortable for me. - Durability: I've had no issues at all with these, they've taken a bit of a beating and kept on going without a flaw to the sound quality. - Battery: Nothing short of gobsmacking. I do only wear these for around an hour at a time however the case has only been charged twice since I got these, I keep seeing the battery percentage and being shocked it's not lower, really impressed with the battery on these and they don't show sign of stopping or slowing down in this department. - Comfort/size: Personally I've had no issues in this area at all, they fit great (it does come with additional ear buds if you need a different size) and stay on importantly without needing to be pushed back in constantly. They fit nice and snug in the ear meaning you don't lose any of the sound quality. - Connectivity/portability: There's not much I can say about portability, its a small smart looking case, it'll fit in your pocket, need I say more? Re connectivity they fire up and connect to my phone within seconds and I've never had the connection drop...never! They do well and for an added bonus you can download the app (free) and customise the sound to your liking. I can't really knock the app past the initial set up, yes I know its another thing to have to do, but it's worth it! Cons: I don't really have any gripes with these, yes there are probably better sounding ones but these for the price are genuinely great and I really believe to get a better sounding pair you'd be jumping up to spending hundreds so I can't knock these for value for money. They've lasted well and have all of the above benefits , perfect for gym and running, and generally if you like your music and don't want to fork out hundreds or wear great gawdy headphones I'd go for these as well! Initially with all of the discounts you always see on these earphones I did wonder if they were genuine or if it was a marketing knock down, well I bit the bullet and am glad I did, hopefully this helps some of you who are wondering the same!

Very Impressive
Rarely do I feel the desire to provide a review on the items I purchase. They are either domestic items that don’t warrant it or on the most part I buy stuff use it for a bit and then realise I probably didn’t need it in the first place and it lies dormant until I either happen across it or suddenly wonder where it is and start turning the house upside down. This is very much not the case with these. To say I am impressed is an understatement. I own several pairs of ear / headphones from several of the big hitters, and virtually every generation of the little white ones.. I’m not sure I can actually put brands on here. And they are all great and serve a purpose, but they are also rather expensive. Now I was looking for a set of earbuds purely to go running in and go to the gym. To put things into context I’m 105 KG’s and the image of me running is not a pretty one, I sweat a lot and cause a small earthquake in my immediate vicinity. For this reason I am reluctant to wear headphones or the several hundred pound offering from those white ones as if the elements don’t kill them the sweat won’t make them particularly attractive. Now this purchase was not a fluke I did my homework and these got great reviews, however for the price my expectation was not high.. how wrong was I.. it arrived in classy packaging that did inspire confidence as to the potential quality of the items protected inside. I am an iPhone user and out of the box these linked seamlessly and immediately, something that these have continued to do several months on.. no faffing whatsoever. I can be linked on Bluetooth to any number of devises and on taking these out of the box connection is instant. As far as fit is concerned, having never really used the hook style before, they are secure and the sound remains immersive and plugged in. As I said I’m no ballerina and on an hours run I may find I need to give them a reassuring nudge maybe once or twice. This is only to create the seal as there is no way these are falling off your ears. Despite the grip these are super comfy and really I don’t even notice the hooks. Certainly no irritation or soreness. As far as reliability and build quality… I am amazed. Like I said I’ve had these several months now and use them four to five times a week. Through the winter I have been absolutely soaked, or had these under my hat, which could be wronged out with sweat after the run.. I said it was not attractive. But a quick wipe when I was finished with some kitchen towel and straight back in the box and these have remained as reliable as day one. They hold a charge forever and the box keeps them going for several consecutive days. Now I’m not an expert, I can’t say I really know what I’m listening for but I do know what motivates me to drag myself to train and these do just that. Plenty of bass, very immersive and loud enough to stop me thinking how tired I am. I have an eclectic range of music taste from garage to old school school hip hop to techno, to heavy rock and they all sound good. My only critique, which is more so user error and due to the fact I hadn’t really read the instructions, that the function button to pause play etc can be tricky to find in a rush. Again this more so due to the fact that I rarely need to use it.. and that is it. I have otherwise been incredibly impressed everywhere else. Well done Soundcore I love these, and genuinely am over the moon with these to anyone. I guess I should say I’m not getting anything for free for this I just think give praise where praise is due..

Great Workout Headphones for the Price
Great workout headphones for the price. My gym plays music fairly loud, but I can't hear it at all with these in (in noise cancelling mode) so in my experience the ANC is great. I have them at just over half volume, so they're certainly loud enough. No complaints from me on sound quality. Of course you can get better, but for me that's not worth the jump in price. I was worried the ear hooks would be uncomfortable or not fit (I have really small ears), but they've been comfortable and secure during my sessions so far (couple hours at a time). Too early to comment on durability or charging/battery life (I've not had to charge them yet). I don't expect them to take much charging, battery life with these is normally pretty good. All in all really happy with them!

Comfy and stay in your ear
I was looking for an alternative to my Airpod Pro's for use in the gym as I didn't want to ruin my Airpods with sweat and I just find that the Airpods have a tendency to occasionally drop out of my ear when i'm working out. So when looking for a pair of headphones they needed to be reasonably priced, they needed to be waterproof/sweatproof and they needed to be over the ear fitting. I've used quite a few products from Anker previously, so know that they make very good products. I was more than happy to take a chance on these headphones rather than paying half the price for a pair from a company i've never heard of before. There was also a 20% discount applied at the time of buying which brought the price down even further. After having used these a few times now I have been very happy with them. Most importantly they are easy to fit and stay in place when working out. I have zero worries that these could ever drop out during an activity. They are also comfortable and once on I forget that they are there. The included charging case is a bit cheap feeling because it is so light compared to the Airpod charging case. It is USB-C (no wireless charging, but I'm not fussed about that) but comes with a ridiculously small charging cable that they shouldn't have bothered including one as it'll never be used. They did come with about ¾ charge so you are able to use them straight away. They were easy to connect to my phone and the connection has been stable while using them. There is an app you can download which allows you to set the sound preferences to your liking and this works well and is easy to use. there is a single button on each earpiece and you can use the app to customise what feature this operates. I like to set the one earpeice so that with a single press of the button it plays/pauses and a double press of the button it skips to the next track. This is where these headphones lost a star for me, as the double press of the button only seems to work 50% of the time and I invariably find it pausing the track instead of skipping it. This isn't a deal breaker for me as I can just use my phone or watch to skip to the next track instead. Overall sound quality is ok, as is the noise cancelling for the price but will never replace a decent set of headphones for me. However for use whilst working out the quality is more than adequate and the noise cancelling does drown out the awful gym music well enough. I am happy with the headphones and would recommend them to others.

Sport X20’s
Great pair of ear buds, I was blown away by the sound quality compared to an old set of beats I’d been using. Nice to have app control of them as well, you can even set a personalised equaliser for your listening preference by using an in app feature or just use the preset ones, which there’s plenty of. Battery life seems to really good for the size of them. Noise cancelling is decent, I tend to use them with it off though so I can hear if people talk to me at the gym. My only complaint would be the buttons, they’re a bit fiddly and I’ve found them a bit awkward to use but I’m sure I’ll get used to them. They do fit my ears really well, I find normal ear buds always fall out of my ears, having the adjustable ear hooks makes sure that they don’t move. I can’t comment on call quality as I haven’t used them for that yet. Definitely recommend them for gym or exercise which is what I primarily use them for.

Good headphones, although noise cancellation is a bit hit and miss.
I have been using these for a month or two now and I am really torn whether to give these 3 or 4 stars. I have had a positive experience, so they definitely deserve 3 stars, but I just don' t know if the experience is positive enough to rate 4 stars. If I could give these 3.5 stars I would. Out of 10 they are a solid 7. Pros: I like these sport headphones, I use them at the gym almost every day. They fit well, seem to hold up to me sweating well, and have an actual button on them so you're not messing around with capacitive controls and accidentally activating them. I don't tend to run in these as the impact of me running tends to pop them out of the ear a bit, although they don't fall off my head due to the ear hooks, which are comfortable and I don't think about them at all. The case is really small, especially for earbuds with ear hooks, and battery life is good, with me not needing to charge them often despite often being in the gym for a couple of hours a day. Cons: The earbud style means it is hard for me to get a good seal no matter what size I use. I wish I could get ear tips with double or triple flanges on them. If the ear bud tips had this, then they would seal a lot better and would be far less susceptible to coming loose, although like I said, due to the ear hooks won't actually fall off your head. However, if they did have double or triple flange tips, the case would likely need to be bigger. The buds do support multiple connection, but in order to get them to connect to the Matrix gym machines, I have to disconnect them from my phone first. Only then will they show up as an available device for the gym machine. After they are connected to the gym machine, I can connect them back up to my phone again. It's not the end of the world, but is a little bit awkward/annoying. Another issue I have is that whilst the noise cancellation is good, it often seems to turn itself off under certain circumstances. I have it set to be turned on and manual in the app so it shouldn't auto adjust, but there is something funky with the wind cancellation feature. If I turn on the fans on the gym machines and have air blowing my face, suddenly it seems that all active noise cancellation cuts out and possibly passthrough mode is active. I expect this is a software issue and will hopefully be fixed by a firmware update. Overall, I like these for gym use, but I don't use them for running much due to them slipping and the seal becoming loose as well as the wind/noise cancellation issues. However for the gym they are very good and I would buy them again given the choice.

Ok for the price but the hook is redundant
I bought these to replace my powerbeats pro which, after going strong for about 5 years suddenly died. I wanted over the ear headphones as I mostly use them for running or at the gym and I find that smaller, in ear earbuds just fall out. The sound quality was ok, not as good as my beats but for the price, and with the noise cancelling on, the sound was good enough. Noise cancelling worked well and they connected seamlessly with my phone. The buttons I found a bit too fiddly (compared to the beats which are large and easy to press on the go) but I could have gotten used to them and you do have the option to change what the buttons do (skip, back, volume, etc). Microphone quality for calls was good and it stayed connected while on a call pottering around the house. Unfortunately, I did end up sending them back as the over ear hooks were far too lightweight and flimsy and did little to actually hold the earbud in place. I found they kept falling out of my ears whilst at the gym, not even doing an energetic workout, and I had to keep pushing them back in as once the silicone bit was loose, the hook might as well have not been there. If you are looking for earbuds where the hook can hold the earbud in place even the silicone part has come loose from your ear, these are not the ones.

Fine for the gym, not great for everyday wear
Too long, didn’t read: good = secure in ear, good battery life. Bad = Noise cancelling isn’t very good, bleeding sound is a problem. I’ve used these for a couple of weeks now and there are some definite benefits to these headphones. I bought them to replace some older “wireless” headphones (two wireless headphones connected by a wire which looped over the ear) that I used for exercise. Given they are mostly for exercise, I wanted the security of headphones which went over my ear rather than being just in-ear, but also were wireless and noise cancelling. These headphones are definitely secure and don’t move in my ear at all. The battery life in these headphones is fantastic. I’ve not had to charge them since I charged them when I received them, and I’ve used them most days for commuting on the train as well as for exercise. However, there are some definite issues. First of all, the noise cancelling on these is not good at all. There are a number of options for amending the bass/treble etc through the app, with even an option to have the app find the perfect sound for you. However, none of these options seems capable of blocking out the sound of others on the train or the train announcements. This is despite my volume being around 3/4 of the max it could be. This is disappointing, as I have a pair of soundcore q30 over-ear headphones which block out everything! I was hoping for a similar level of noise-cancelling with these, but it appears almost non-existent, despite having an “adaptive” noise cancelling setting for noisy environments. I could turn up the volume to overcome some of these issues, but then this leads to another problem - sound bleeding. Beyond 3/4 level then the sound bleeds to others. This isn’t a problem in a place like the gym, but on a busy commuter train, it is less than ideal. These headphones are also not that comfortable, with them becoming a little uncomfortable after about 30 minutes. I’ve tried the different sized buds shipped with the product, but these make no difference. In fact, I’d go as far as to say the buds shipped with the product have a cheap feel about them and are probably the reasons for lack of comfort. I even tried the buds from a couple of my old wired headphones, but these seemed unable to stay on! In short, these headphones are ok. I got them for the gym/exercising and they are fine for this. For commuting/everyday wear I would say that I had envisaged me being able to use them instead of my overear q30s to save on space, but they just aren’t good enough for that. I got these on a prime deal, so paid £40 for them, which means I’m not too upset about the issues and will just keep them in my gym bag. Had I paid £80+ for them, I definitely would have been unhappy. This is such a shame as I own a few other anker soundcore products and have only ever had good things to say. I think they’ve missed the mark with these.

Good sound quality
Amazing quality! The build feels premium and durable, and the sound is excellent with clear, rich audio and also noise cancellation works well. They stay securely in my ears even while running or playing sports, and they’re very comfortable to wear for extended periods. Highly recommended as I was impressed

Money well spent.
Comfort, I've went through so many pairs of earbuds because they were painful to wear but these are special, I can wear them all day long and I'll sometimes forget I have them in. The sound quality is great, bass has never left me wanting and no peaking like with cheap earbuds. The only pair of earbuds I can say in my experience the sound better then these cost $250, and by better I mean a little bit. Form factor, the carrying case isn't too bulky but not so small you'll lose it easily, it's easy to take in and out of my pocket. Battery life, It's the best I've ever had in Bluetooth earbuds, I can count on one hand how many times I charged the case since I've had them and have a couple fingers to spare. I don't know how low they were since it has no battery life display (my one and only gripe but I can live without it if it makes the case more compact). Now the active noise calculation.....absolutely amazing. It actually works a little too well for me because I can't hear ANYTHING with it on, like I mean at all. I've had Bose earbuds that specialize in active noise cancelation that suck compared the these, I'm serious it's crazy. Set up, pretty standard, it's easy just press and hold the case button for 3 seconds then add them on your phone. These really are the best bang for the buck I know of when it comes to earbuds because it ticks all the boxes while only costing $70.
