I need to scan my 89 Firebird. This adapter cable It doesn’t work. I have heard the pins in the connector are in the wrong location. I’m not going try and figure out pin location in connector.

Getting a 3 because I bought this without knowing a OBD1 port needs a power source. So if you have a code reader that is battery powered I’m pretty sure it’ll work but for me. I unfortunately wasted my money.

Needed this to diagnose my 2007 Ford using Forscan. Tried a few adapters before this one, and it's the only one that worked flawlessly.

You can’t change obd2 power to OBD1 with a plug .. this is a hoax
