Mini UPS Battery Backup for Router, Modem, Security Camera

I recently purchased this UPS, and it has exceeded my expectations. I bought this for my family that live in a country tant has a lot of electricity problems they have frequent power outages in their area, and this device has been a game-changer. It provides uninterrupted power to their computer and modem, preventing data loss and keeping their connected during blackouts. The setup was simple and straightforward. It has multiple outlets, which allows their to protect several devices simultaneously. The battery backup gives me enough time to save their work and shut down the system safely. Additionally, the surge protection feature offers extra peace of mind, especially during storms. One of the features I appreciate most is the automatic voltage regulation (AVR), which stabilizes power fluctuations and protects sensitive electronics. This UPS is exactly what I was looking for in my home networking setup. It's very compact and the build quality feels good. It has a metal casing and the finish looks quite nice. I have a TP-Link Deco M4 and an IKEA smarthome hub plugged into it. I charged to 100% and unplugged it from the wall to test it several times. It keeps both devices on for about 4 hours. This is far better than the bulkier and heavier UPS' with lead acid batteries. My favorite thing about it is it allowed me to eliminate the power adapters simplifying and cleaning up my setup. This UPS is best for smaller and simpler routers and devices, 2A or less.

Our has a whole-home generator so the longest period of time we are without power is about 15 seconds. We have the computers, NAS, router, and mini-switch in our office all on a UPS to tide us over during that brief period. However, the ONT is located in a panel in our garage and was NOT on a battery backup. So in the event of a brief power outage we would still lose internet access. This particular mini UPS works great. Problem solved! Now if we lose power we will still have continuous internet access even during a brief power outage.

I'm totally blind. I got this to power a Blink Sinc Module being it doesn't have a battery and the local storage for Video recordings is in it. The first thing I noticed when I got this out of the box. The item itself is about 5 inches long, 4 inches or so wide and has a button on the top of it. I also noticed that there was 4 ports along with an AC plug on the back of it. If you have the AC plug on the right side as you are looking at the back of the box! The far left is the 5V 2A USB port. Then going towards the right, you ahve the 5V 2A round port, then a 9V and the 12V ports. Now when you press the button on the top of the unit! It turns on and off without having to hold the button. So if you touch the button in error! You could turn off the unit. I don't really care for that. The status lights are close to the power button and are close together. So a totally blind person such as myself will not really be able to tell how much power is left in the unit until it goes below 25% if it starts flashing. For now, I have this plugged in and the USB cable plugged in to power the Blink Sinc module. Hopefully this will prevent the module from messing up the Micro SD card with a power flicker. If this works OK! I may get the 20AH one to power my U-Verse modem providing it doesn't draw to much power. But this 10AH should run the Blink Module with no issues for hours.

Use it to power the fiber modem. Saved me from having to connect the modem power to a big lead acid battery ups. This fits in the patch panel closet and works like a champ as a battery backup and power supply. Worth every penny to prevent wifi outages.

For someone living in an area electricity comes and goes, After 5-6 months it completely stopped working. Before that, it was great! Hold router/wifi ON for up to 4-5 hours

BEWARE: NOT for any device that requires AC current! That little detail is not at all evident from the product description. Returned immediately.

I just installed this to support my fibre internet modem. It works fine. (My modem tends to not restart even with a momentary power gliltch, so this should save me there). I measured the 12V output and it was about 12.1 (perfectly within tolerance). I also measured the wall wart output for my modem, and it was similar. Also checked the polarity. I have not tried any other voltages or the USB connector. Interestingly, there a a whole bunch of adapters for different sizes of plugs. I did not need to use them, but I note that I don’t think any of them would have reversed the polarity if that were needed (it usually is not).

Très satisfait par cet onduleur. Je n'ai pas pu mesurer l'autonomie de la batterie mais mes 2 équipements branchez dessus durent des heures avec. Côté consommation, l'onduleur consomme moins de 2W en plus de la consommation des équipements branchés, une fois la batterie interne chargée.

Aunque lo compré solo para ciertos periodos en los que necesito asegurarme de disponer de internet durante unas horas en caso de un corte de luz, llevo años usándolo y funciona muy bien. Para probarlo desconecté el router de la corriente y lo dejé solo con la conexión a este mini ups. Aguanta varias horas y además sirve como PowerBank para pequeños dispositivos con distintos tipos de conexiones.

Ottimo prodotto. Avevo gia la versione da 20000 bianca per tenere in vita il mio spitz ax, questo invece lo dedico interamente ad una telecamerina ip e a grandi linee consumi alla mano potrebbe/dovrebbe durare giorni. Ha gia eseguito egreggiamente il suo lavoro visto che mi consente di staccare la corrente e fare lavori elettrici senza perdere la visione del mio spioncino di casa. Ovviamente nel mio caso ho esagerato un pò ma l'esperienza con il precedente acquisto mi ha fatto acquistare anche questo modello meno capiente ma sempre in alluminio invece dei soliti classici e plasticosi ups di altre marche. Anche il prezzo mini sembrato ottimo e in linea con il mercato ma con il plus del materiale che é proprio bello e di un altra categoria Anche in questo caso é importante sapere cosa dovete alimentare prima di acquistare un prodotto del genere!
