Burn very quickly, but smell nice and are cheap.
These incense cones burn really well for backlit burners. The smoke falls down like a waterfall and it's mesmerising to watch. They burn VERY quickly compared to stick incense, and it was ash within ten minutes, but how long are you going to stare at something without getting bored anyway. The smoke and cone also did not discolour the base at all, so that's a real plus. They smell nice - like generic incense. I'm not an expert so I can't recognise the floral undertones or accents, but it didn't irritate my nose and I'm pretty iffy about indoor scents. At £6, these are excellent value for money.

The backflow works well, but the cones burn acrid
These cones work really well for backflow, they light easily and give a lot of pale grey smoke that looks pretty in flow.I don't think anyone can expect the very best of fragrances from a 100 cones at a very reasonable price of £4.99, as listed at time of review, but these cones are all bagged together in plastic and on opening I couldn't discern different fragrances from the different coloured cones as I took each out of the bag. The overall fragrance from the bag wasn't very strong, and at best smelt a faint powdery floral something. The cones lit immediately and burned for 5-6 minutes, and though the backflow worked well I could only smell a faint, indistinct aroma for the duration of the burn.Having burnt 4 of these cones I came to realise that once burned through the cone left a dark, oily residue that, even from a distance, smells acrid. For the look of a good backflow these work, but there is little fragrance to them, and I would just say it's advisable to clear the burner of the residue immediately after burning to remove the acrid smell.

Lovely Selection of Scents
I ordered these as I have a waterfall incense burner which didn't come with any intense cones to use with it. You get a lovely variety of 10 different scented incense cones, with a total of 100 this should keep me going for a while! So far I've tested the rose-scented one and it left a lovely lingering smell of fresh roses around the house. They look very impressive as they're burning away on my waterfall burner, as the smoke drifts down the layers. Great product for a bargain price!

Lots of smoke and, for me, quite an unpleasant selection of incense smells.
There are certainly a lot of these incense cones jumbled together in a plastic resealable bag, the scent of which combined is… well, let's just say that it's not entirely pleasant. One cone in particular has a truly awful aroma as far as my nose is concerned, but bear in mind that the sense of smell can vary between individuals. I can’t tell you what the offending scent is because there is no documentation identifying what they are by the colour, but it is enough to make me really regret lighting it. The smell has been lingering for ages!Just in case you also find certain odours to be unpleasant when others think they are ok, I find strong vanilla perfume to be extremely unpleasant, and for me, the taste of celery is like eating dandelions that are coated with wood treatment. I mention celery because taste and smell are combined senses. By the way, I love the smell of patchouli and a great many other scents used, just in case you are wondering if I don’t appreciate incense. I love it.Just like some people may like Marmite and others hate it, I think that the experience of these cones may also be that well defined. I’m sorry to say that I didn’t find ANY of the scents included to be pleasant enough to want to repeat the experience. These incense cones burn at about twice the speed of the pyramid cones I normally use, and I suspect that they all share a common chemical (camphor perhaps?) as the cones generate a lot of smoke for their size too, which is somewhat unwise in any enclosed space. My rating is, of course, for my personal experience. Other reviews may be more positive.

Large bag of incense for good price
I got the 100 cone bag currently under £6 seems good value. Each is about the size of a rosebud. They burn without much smoke but the white smoke you get seems to curl down around the cone.Quite a strong incense smell. I can't really notice a strong difference between the colours myself. But strong pleasant smell. They take less than 10 minutes each to burn down so very easy to use, fill room with pleasant smell and not worry about leaving burning.I'm removing 1 star because was expecting more noticeable individual flower/herb smell but these are very good for the price at 6p each.Happy camper

Smells cheap but I'm very picky.
I'm somewhat disappointed in these backflow incense cones, I've had some lovely ones but as soon as you open the bag, for me they smell of cheap perfume. Now a lot of people may get on with the smell as I admit to being extremely fussy about perfume and even good quality ones can upset my nose so this review is very personal and it's just my opinion of them. I'm sufficiently picky to dislike the majority of air fresheners which other people quite happy with (I'm OK with vanilla/spice and citrus but florals for me are deeply offensive).I can't recommend these exactly but that may just be me.

Good incense cones.
These are good backflow incense cones. They work well, have a good selection of strong fragrances and a good burn time. Price is very reasonable for 100 cones.
