Fits on Project Salvo and Includes the Low Profile hopper
Shipping was sketchy. It looked like someone tried to tamper with the box. Other than that It was easy to install. You have to rotate the Piston with the hose on it to fit the hose on the banjo fitting. I wouldnt recommend using the written instrustion because they are really vague. I used this video [...] the hopper doesnt interfere with the sights even with a sight riser. Pros & Cons Pros: 15+ balls Per Second Lesser chance of chopping within the chamber nuematic power system (no batteries) Cons: Since it is powered by the air from your tank, It uses slightly more Air per shot. Feeding system will Stop Cycling when you only have 800psi left in your tank. (No biggie) NO NEED TO BUY A LOW PROFILE HOPPER BECAUSE THE LOW PROFILE HOPPER CAME WITH THE PRODUCT. This is A BUY with out a doubt increases performance on the field, Makes your gun more efffiecient Good price too.

Turned out to be amazing.
I bought this a few weeks ago and just got the chance to use it. This feeder is simply amazing. At first I was set to give a rating of 2 or 3 as I had balls being chopped quite often. In actuality I even started to put the gravity hopper back on my Alpha Black when I realized the issue. The unit I got simply was not put together properly, not really sure how it passed qc but that's besides the point. The solution was to simply tighten the allen screw (there is only one) and the maintenance kit from the marker already had the right size. So a 1 minute fix to what was almost a certain return of the product saved not only my day but also the reputation of this feeder at least from my point of view. After fixing the issue and putting over 5k balls through this feeder not a single ball has chopped since. This is a very well designed unit (as long as it's properly tightened) and performs very well. I was really on the fence as just about all the reviews were positive. I'm glad I found the issue and was able to fix it right away and get on with my game. Will see how it holds up after a few more thousands of balls.

decent
Ohkay I bought this and I'm reviewing this as a speed ball player and a milsim player so I'm not biased towards any types of play I have a project salvo with a etrig to it I ran air and co2 through this cyclone and I can say I think it's Ohkay if your only playing milsim.. in all seriousness if you play other types of fake other then milsim go get a great hopper like a dye I say this because you can only use this on tippmann guns nothing else I give 4 stars because it's a nice hopper but I noticed if full auto is your thing or rapid shooting with co2 you will freeze... with air it's not a problem but with fast shooting at 18 balls a second this only feeds 15 you will chop if you go over 15

Must-have
For anyone that plays with either an E-trigger or a response trigger on a Tippmann, this hopper is what I'd recommend. When comes to garanteed feeding system for high rate of firing there aren't a lot of good options out there, I for one hate to mess with all the electronic hoppers that gives out a noise every time they are on, I play woodball and that just gives away my position. The cyclone feeder is gas operated so it only turns when a shot is fired and will always feed after a shot is fired, Tippmann advertised it can go up to 15 bps and I think that's probably low balling, but for the price this is sold for it functions a lot better compared to other feed options out there for full auto markers. Two things though about this system, 1. I use co2, and this system would stop feeding the balls when pressure drops below 300 psi, usually on the 20oz tank I use this system would stop working about 20-25 shots before the gun stops working, so if you ever see the piston stops moving when shooting, you are about to be out of air. 2. the system still relies on gravity so the gun still have to be right side up for it to feed, and when the piston moves the paddle inside the feeder after a shot there is quite a bit of shaking, so if you are low on paintballs in the hopper the shaking might throw a ball out of the paddle and get an empty feed. This happens only when you have less than 30 rounds left in the hopper. So overall I think this is the best/cheapest option to go with a full auto marker, installation is a breeze (took me 2 minutes) and it's a great upgrade for the price this is.

Rain or Shine...It is awesome!
For Tippmann marker users the Cyclone is a godsend. Gravity feeders just don't cut it. Electronic feeders need batteries and are not resistant to water. The Cyclone feeds balls at a great pace and with the metal upgrades you can even go beyond 20+ bps. Never have had a feeder chop or a ball chop. It works in the rain with no problems. The only drawback is the dependence on air so if you're tank is super low it just doesn't have enough excess gas to work. Simple fix is check your gauge or buy a larger tank. I play with a 3000psi 72ci tank so I can play 4 to 5 games and shoot almost a whole case without refilling. As a precaution to avoid blending softer premium paints especially in cold temperatures I got the squishy paddles, any brand works I bought black to match. The Cyclone is just another one of Tippmann's legendary products.
