OBD II Memory Saver Connector with Two 2 Alligator Clips

Bought as a Christmas present for my husband, used for the first time, IT DOES NOT WORK. Beeps when connected but does not save anything, rubbish.

A good cheap solution to save your cars computer data. In the past this has led to the car not starting so i tried this and it worked. Doing it this way is a bit more risky as the live terminal of the battery must not touch the earthing of the car whilst changing the battery. I put a leather glove over live whilst I fit new battery just to make sure. No instructions were included which was a bit lame but mostly obvious how to do it. It makes a loud continuous beeping noise when plugged into the obd which i had to listen to throughout the whole procedure. I found this very distracting and unnecessary. When i first heard it i thought id done something wrong as there were no instructions. As mentioned here by someone else, dont touch them together while plugged in or you would short circuit your car electrics. I feel they should have included some kind of warning about this as it can so easily be done by mistake. I used it on a ford focus cmax 2004 and connected to my cheap battery jump starter.. NOTE: TAKE YOUR TIME AND THINK CAREFULLY WHEN USING.
