I take no medications other than herbs at this time. Check with your doctor if you do take medications. I love Goldenseal and this brand is a great one. Goldenseal is great for a bacterial infection, sore throat from sinus drainage is what I recently took this for or anytime I have a sore throat coming on or any other bacterial infection. GREAT company and product.
