This ecosystem is a brilliant investment.
The PolyDryer system is a total game-changer for anyone tired of the constant battle against filament humidity. The standout feature is undoubtedly the modular design; unlike traditional dryers that pull double duty as a single-spool feeder, this system allows you to decouple the drying unit from the storage containers. Being able to purchase additional sealed storage boxes means you can dry a roll, snap the airtight seals shut, and move on to the next one without leaving your filament exposed to the air. It’s an incredibly efficient workflow for those of us with growing "filament graveyards" who need a scalable way to keep everything crisp and print-ready. The build quality of the storage boxes themselves is impressive, featuring robust gaskets and secure latches that inspire actual confidence in their airtight claims. They aren't just passive bins, either; the integration of a built-in hygrometer and a dedicated desiccant compartment turns each box into a high-tech fortress for your PETG or Nylon. Having a fleet of these boxes allows for a "set it and forget it" mentality—you get the professional results of a dry box setup with the flexibility of a modular library.

Does the job admirably!
This filament dryer is perfect. I love that it so easily swaps out the little seals so it can go onto the dryer base. I wish it was a little bit less expensive, so I could reasonably buy a bunch more for all my filament, but instead, I'll likely end up getting a small handful more, for my most commonly-used filaments.

Works great! Keeps filament spools dry while feeding into a printer.
I buy just the feeder box, not the fan driven unit that sits under it. Keeps filaments at ~30% humidity constantly. Have multiple printers and keep all the active spools in these to keep them stable. Humidity here in Texas is wild and these do an amazing job of keeping the live spools dry. I never use the exposed filament holders that most 3d printers have built in. Only these boxes. Seriously great product!

Alot to say. mostly good. read for details.
The system is good, but not perfect. The elephant in the room is that the dryer is loud and takes hours to do the job. Think hair dryer in the next room over. its not LOUD, but it does constantly draw attention to itself. If you can put it in the garage, laundry room, anywhere you don't have to hear it or just not be home while its running, it does the job capably. The dry boxes themselves work wonderfully for keeping the filament dry for long periods of time. The one hooked up to my printer right now is at 15% moisture and was dried 2 months ago. The construction quality of the dry boxes is much much better than i had expected. very rigid i think it would take a deliberate effort to break one. Other reviewers have complained they are somewhat difficult to open, while accurate i don't think this is a bad thing as it makes a very solid seal between the lid and container. You should only need to open it to replace the spool once depleted. This will not accidentally come open, even if you drop it. Getting the most out of this system. The filament dryer by design will not get hot enough to completely dry the desiccant because that could damage the filament. The desiccant changes colors to indicate how much moisture they've absorbed, after a certain point they can no longer absorb any more moisture. after seeing other reviewer images, i think a commonly overlooked component is drying the desiccant itself before putting it into use in the drybox. simply emptying the beads onto a paper plate and microwaveing them on defrost for 9 minutes works very well and can be repeated as needed for the life of the drybox. additionally this system works best when you remove the drybox from the drying station and cap the drybox after a drying cycle, it does not have a air tight seal to the drying station and leaving it sitting on the dock permits moist air to seep back into the container as it cools. Above i have a comparison of two dryboxes set up 1 day apart, you can easily tell which one i dried the desiccant in before hand and which one i just put together and put on the dryer. My my minor critiques are that the system does not have a rear facing port so if you have your set up like mine your moisture gage will be facing away from the front of the machine. The dryboxes come with a length of PTFE tubing but its a larger diameter than what most machines use so if you want to connect your drybox directly to your printer you will need to supply your own tubing i'd also like to see a future revision with a spot for additional desiccant beads in the rear of the drybox. Overall i highly recommend this system if you can live with or work around the noise issue.

Complete Filament Spool System
Not just a box, not just a dryer, not just a feeder, but a whole all in one spool management system. Starting with the box, it’s an excellent sealed storage box with silica gel holder and hygrometer. Keeps your filament dry and sealed. Speaking of dry, you can dry your filament in the box itself. Heater can reach temperatures high enough to dry most of your filaments on your shelf. The same box can also feed your filament into your printer with the provided tubes. Printing from the box is easy and convenient with the tube connected to your printer provides an almost closed eco system. Dry filament produces fantastic, and consistent prints either good adhesion. And to top it all off, you can also dry while your printing. Like I said, a complete system. And all for an affordable price.

Good Storage
Needed a storage to hold some PLA Flex and keep moisture out. So far it’s been holding up, it’s holding humidity at 39%, for my area that’s quite good. No problems.

Love this system, if they were not so expensive I'd use them exclusively.
I love these dry boxes and their drying base. These things have an excellent seal on them and work brilliantly on the rare occasion I need to print out of the storage box. They come with everything you need including a bar to mount the spool on which makes it a LOT easier on your extruder motor when printing directly from the box. I buy at least one every time they are on sale, very happy with these!

Ineffective drying, cheapo fan chosen for this not-cheap device, poor design.
I really like the modular concept but unfortunately this product just doesn't seem thought through. The bottom airlocks have nowhere to go when you're drying. The compatibility rod also has nowhere to go unless you want to throw it in the bottom where it rattles and can occasionally wedge your roll. The fan barely blows any air even on Level 3; I thought maybe I had a defective unit but it seems that they just chose super cheap fans for this $60 product. The fans make an annoying high pitch whine and could not dry my Polymaker PLA filament under 38% (started at 43%) humidity even after 16 hours of continuous drying. There's a community mod with ducts and a Noctua fan replacements but the Noctua fans on their own would cost $30, which is really hard to justify after spending $60 on the base already. Considering the internals are just the fans and heating element + a small control board, I would expect there to be plenty of budget left for decent fans (even the Noctuas!) but it seems that they chose to pocket your money instead and give you a garbage product. I used to have a perception that Polymaker sells products they would be proud of but unfortunately I am now disappointed in them.

Need the dryer for this to function fully
You do need to already have the accompanying dryer but if you already do you can use these for storage

Efficient at keeping filament dry and workable post dehydrating. Excellent Product!!!!
Outstanding product. Packaged very well and secure for shipping. Printing mostly PETG, they keep my filament in a perfectly workable state after dehydrating. The digital hygrometer is very responsive and accurate enough for the use case give or take 1-5%. They are nice and compact fitting nicely on shelving for storage. I am a little worried about the clamping sides as they are slightly tough to snap on and engage. Putting the lid on slightly wrong may result in breaking those clamps. I would keep an eye on this. The filament holes on the top and front are great for their use case. I look forward to purchasing more of these as my color library continues to grow. Highly recommended 5 Stars.

Great products and great customer service
These dry boxes and drier work great. They keep my PLA filament down to 10% humidity. The fact that I can use the storage box to hold my smaller spools that don't fit well in my AMS is great. I can hook the box directly to my printer and feed the filament from it. I had one warped box, but Polymaker customer service was quick and great. They provided me with a new box and also gave me printing tips for new material. Highly recommend Polymaker .
