Review: SL3 is infused in the helmet, very sleek - The Sena SL3 is a very sleek unit, specifically designed for the Shoei Geotech3 helmet. This Sena is embodied in the helmet and there is no little device hanging on the side of your helmet. The speakers are improved and the sound is better than the previous units. Unfortunately, the downside is that they haven’t improved the coms distance between riders. Overall I’m very pleased with the performance, the look and the relatively easy installation. And one other thing that is convenient, the unit is charged through a port on the back of the helmet.

The Sena SL3 is a very sleek unit, specifically designed for the Shoei Geotech3 helmet. This Sena is embodied in the helmet and there is no little device hanging on the side of your helmet. My husband ordered these to replace his current Bluetooth set. He Loves them. Took him a little while to install, but they worked perfectly. We both have Sena communications in our helmets, and enjoy the ease of charging, endurance of the battery, and provides clear sound when talking or listening to music in our helmets.
