I ordered this based on my previous experience with other Joyo products. I needed a reasonably priced wireless system for upcoming gigs and so I gave this a try.Used during a 4 hour gig and it worked perfectly. I was happy to be free of cords and had to have roamed around at least 30 to 40 feet away from the reciever while playing. Never cut out or dropped the signal.In order to preserve battery life, I turned it off between sets only to have it automatically pair again upon returning to the stage. No problem whatsoever.Personally, I give this 2 thumbs up and 5 stars.

Great upgraded set for my husband compared to his first set of these. Works well with long range and little delay at all. Sound is very good too.

Just bought the JW-06 last week. These are great. I have a little practice area in my living room all running cable. But I also want to be able to bring my guitar over the couch or another close by area but didn't want to deal with cable. So I decided to give these wireless units a try. I use them strictly for home practice (I don't gig). I use it on a Silver Sky SE, Fender tele and a Michael Kelly LP. No problem plugging them in.I don't really hear anything different nor volume differences between cable and the wireless. I primarily play clean or slight/bluesy breaking sound. Not sure how it would work with heavy distortion. The distance from the amp was only about 10-15 feet. As I said previously, I use it at home for practice. I can't comment on its use for gigging. But nonetheless it works really well. I have my fireTV and router in the same room and haven't noticed any dropouts nor interference. And the plug-in units themselves are nice and small. The charging block actually has it's own battery....Its not just a charging stand. The box has a USB-c "in" and "out". The "in" is for charging USB connected to an electrical outlet. The "out" allows you to provide power/charge to anything using a USB connector....your phone, rechargeable tuner, little bluetooth wireless connector for my amp, etc......really nice little feature.I will add for the JW-06, that if you long press the button on the transmitter and the receiver, they will turn off. So if you are taking a break between sets or taking a break during practice, you can always just turn them off to preserve battery power in the units during breaks. So, if you don't want to unplug them from guitar and amp and put them into the battery charging device every time you take a break, you can always just quickly turn them off for a breakThe one thing to consider is that if something were to happen to the charging box ei: an amp falls on it and crushes it...lol, you won't have a way to charge the two wireless units. You can't charge the individual units. There is no place to plug in a USB line for charging on the individual units.Overall, I would highly recommend these for practicing at home if you want to go cable free

I bought this to do a quick reunion show, so wasn't looking for a high-end device. It charged and paired up as expected, but I could not get any audio out of it. I was trying to use it on an Ibanez SG bass, which has active electronics. I thought I had seen that it would work with active electronics, but apparently it doesn't, in my case anyway. Tried it with a passive guitar and it worked fine. I remembered that I had another unit (different brand) that someone had given me because it had the same exact issue. So, to get it to work, you have to "trick" it into thinking it's in a passive guitar. Use a 1/4" to 1/4" TRS (stereo) coupler from the transmitter, to a 1/4" patch cable to the jack, and it worked. Not sure exactly why, but it has worked on both devices. I guess it's something to do with it shorting to ground on the TRS. Sounds really good and is a nice package. And cheap. I like the charging base, and it's sleek, compact design and it seems pretty solid. But, there's got to be a better way. Maybe an ON/OFF switch... Hmm... As an addendum, I tried it on my Ovation active, and it did work IF you power cycled the transmitter while it was plugged in...Addendum: So, I've really gotten to like this thing. Having that charging base is brilliant. Works well on my passive guitars. Haven't tried them again on the active electronic. The coverage is OK. Not great. The shape is not great on guitars with bottom-mounted jacks. I'm always hitting with my leg, making it cut out. But, I'm going to give it an extra star. It's not bad....

5.8GHZ version with charging base. Very good quality for this price range. No detectable delay, no interference problems that I have come across, no discernable difference in tone between these and hard plug. Read the manual however. I thought the base stopped charging, did not realize there was a charging port on the right side, and another usb-c on the left to charge other things from the base.

I used the set up regularly in my show. It has never failed me. I play a three hour show about twice a month. I use this for transmitting between my acoustic guitar and my amplifier. I’m able to walk out into the audience. I’ve never gone more than about 40 or 50 feet away so I don’t know what the range is but it works awesome and for the price it’s unbeatable probably the best product I ever bought off Amazon.

This wireless has been great, no feeling of latency or dropouts. Great product for price.

1. Build quality is good: it's all plastic (except for the 1/4" plugs), but solid. The dongles don't pivot, but that's ok--they fit and they're stable.2. Charging dock concept works: the units snap in solidly and charge through the 1/4 plugs. It makes it easy to transport them while charging at the same time.3. Sound quality is (usually) good: when I'm not getting drop outs (more on that next), the sound is very good. I'm not getting noise, clipping, or tone-suck compared to a cable.4. Interference is a problem: 5.8GHz is supposed to be less crowded, but 5.8 GHz is what I run my home network on. Most people with modern routers do, too. My practice space also has my computer in it, which connects to my router at 5.8 GHz. As a result, I get significant interference/drop outs on every channel except #2. And sometimes channel 2 drops out, too. Cycling through the channels on the device usually fixes this when I get back to channel 2. It's a drag, because it limits my options in case I get interference on that one (working) channel. I haven't had the same problem in other locations, so I'll need to think about how to mitigate it if it gets worse at home. I may have to mess with my router settings, if in fact my wifi is the problem. Or, I may need to switch to a UHF wireless setup for guitar at home, and use these only at gigs and jams.

I am really pleased with these units. I have two sets of them, as I often perform with two bass guitars. The only catch with these and I suppose all wireless receivers, is how close are your jacks on your pedalboard? I could not fit the two receivers side by side on my AB/Y switch. I was able to sort it out, but just something to be aware of. These units are not hinged like some others, which is a plus - they are VERY sturdy. I had already been through several sets of wireless transmitter/receivers, but found them to be fragile, the units physically breaking eventually. These units are one piece, formed without a hinge and are therefore unforgiving if trying to squeeze two receivers beside one another in close quarters, but are exceptional at withstanding typical physical activity - toss them in your guitar case, set the instrument down with the transmitter still in place - no problem, these guys are rugged! They live in a battery pack, so when I take them to another location, I don't even need to worry about the USB cables. I am really pleased with this purchase! I can usually walk all the way to the opposite end of the venue, and the receiver is still picking up my signal. The range is great!

Toll dass Receiver und Sender in der Ladestation direkt geladen werden.Geht zurück weil der Sound im Vergleich zu einem einfachen Kabel hörbar an Höhen / Hochmitten verliert und es gab dazu noch komische unregelmäßige Knackgeräusche beim Spielen im Zimmer. Getestet mit Pod Go in Kombination mit WAZA AIR und verglichen mit 1.5m einfachem Kabel in den Pod Go.Dazu wirken Empfänger und Sender sehr billig / einfach mit ihrem Hartplastik.Update 18.8.25: Versuch eines Rückversandes wie vorgegeben mit Hermes als internationales Paket nach Luxemburg leider erfolglos. Die Annahme wurde verweigert Ende Juli. Leider keine Info von Hermes erhalten. Hermes ist so ein Saftladen.Nun renne ich dem verlorenen Paket hinterher, die Rücksendefrist ist um und die Rücksendung selbst bei Amazon steht auf „begonnen, wir warten auf ihr Paket“…Keine Info vom Händler warum das Paket nicht angenommen wurde.

I bought these to replace a cheaper other brand set that I’ve had for a few years, these are considerably better , more stable, better fidelity. I like the little charging dock. And the way these turn on and off. Maybe for me the lights could be more discreet but not really an issue. Recommend.
