Borneo: Sabah Sarawak Brunei (Bradt Travel Guides)

This book is great. Lots of really good detailed information including more 'off the beaten track' area. Lots of useful websites listed. I generally find Bradt are for the more discerning traveller who doesn't just want to tick off the main attractions and who has an interest in wildlife and culture. They emphasise local travel operators, especially those with an environmental remit and where the profits support local communities, rather than ending up in a head office somewhere in Europe/ US. Highly recommended. Photos are fab too.

Be aware this has no information about the Indonesian part of the island which is what I was looking for specifically so this has not been a very helpful book to me. I have also found the book to be somewhat dry in it's presentation of information. I found myself growing bored with it. As for the book it is printed on flimsy material that easily rips and therefore the price too high for what you get.
