This is my 3rd one!! I have four daughters and they routinely leave the shower running waiting for it to get warm and go off and do whatever they want for hours. We are on a well and we cannot afford to waste water and I wouldn’t want it being wasted any other way. This shuts off right when the water gets warm and then you jump back in and you have water ready for you.

This a great tool it will definitely reflect on my water bill. It was easy to attach to the shower head. The shower stater did what it was supposed to the water flow started out cold soon as the water started getting hot the water flow went to a trickle.

This works great. It should be installed on all new showers.

We have someone in the house that likes to think it takes way longer for hot water to start in the shower than it actually does. This helps as both a timer as well as spots the water from just running. Worth it

Like several other reviews of this product, I am surprised how light and flimsy this 95% plastic product is. I am replacing the metal version of this product that was very sturdy, shut the water off completely and lasted me about 5 or 6 years until it no longer dependably shut the water off. We will see how long this plastic product lasts me but I can say my first two uses of the product did not shut the water flow off completely like the metal version did. It significantly reduced the flow but di not shut it off. I will keep this one but when it ultimately fails, I will ONLY buy the metal version.

Easy to install and use. I like that it slows the slow of water once it reaches the desired temp.

We have one bathroom where the hot water takes a while to get there, and this solved a very specific annoying habit in my house. Someone would turn the shower on, walk away, and the water would just run full blast while it warmed up. I put this valve in between the shower arm and shower head and that problem basically stopped. Install was easy. It took me just a couple minutes with an adjustable wrench. Mine sealed without leaking, even though I did not need any tape. Once the water gets up to temp, the flow drops to a trickle instead of shutting off completely, which is nice because it acts like a clear signal the shower is ready. Then you just give the pull cord a light tug and full flow comes back. The cord has a little clicky feel to it and does not take much force. A few buyer notes. This is not a low flow shower head, it only reduces flow while waiting for hot water. The chrome finish looks fine and matches normal bathroom hardware well enough. It feels solid, not flimsy plastic. If your shower head is already loose, pulling the cord can make it twist a little, so tighten that first. For me this is a 5 star item because it is simple, useful, and saves water without making the actual shower worse. I wish I'd have known something like this existed sooner.

It’s plastic and it still leaks with eight wraps of silicone tape at the water pipe, could only hand tightening because it is made of plastic. It needs to be designed with a rubber grommet. I should’ve gone with the metal one
