we have 2006 honda accord every morning when I turn it on it does a clicking noise I thought it was the timing belt tensor, or a valve from the cylinder head I couldn't find where the noise came and it ended up being the pump from the power steering . I recommend buying weksters mechanic's stethoscope you will save a lot of money.

The plastic on the earpieces is too hard and starts to hurt. What I thought would be a metal tube to pinpoint sounds is a solid rod. Not sure what to do with that.

Different product than what is described. It has the threaded extension, but not the short piece that it threads in to. You can try using it by pushing it into the amplifier bulb but it's very flimsy and doesn't work well. It looses ALOT of the sound transfer trying it like this. Very deceiving on the sellers part. I will be buying another brand, hopefully one that ships what is described. For $9, not sure it's worth returning, even tho it almost useless, and the seller probably knows this so they get to keep the money even tho it's not what we are supposed to be getting.

Even though it hasn't been used on my vehicle I was able to hear my heart beat which is a good indication of it's performance. If needed I would buy this again.
