I absolutely adore this book! I'm going to college and hoping to earn a degree in Astrophysics and then would love to teach children how fun astrophysics can be. I bought this book for my autistic 5-year old daughter after buying her two other books from this series. She absolutely loves them and I thoroughly enjoy reading them with her. I plan on purchasing another one of these books to give to my physics professor for his 3 year old son. I'm so stoked that this book has made it into our home!

The toddler who got this was so excited to dig right in. I appreciate how it doesn't dumb down the topic that it appreciates the sponge effect of a child's mine and gives every baby an equal opportunity to learn advanced science. It may not all stick but some of it will. Love it!

I bought this book for my Autistic grandson who is six He already had the bug book and it had become one of his favorite books He often carries the book around with him. He learned to love the alphabet by watching videos on the kids you tube videos. He is now spelling and he often spells big words like hippopotamus. I thought he would really like this book in the series. There are space videos on the kids you tube channel but they are not one he watches over and over again. I was disappointed that he did not get into this book. I pick him up from school and take him to his therapy for Autism he often looks at books as I am driving When I got the book I put it in the car. He would pick it up look at a few pages and put it back down. He never really became interested in this book like he has with the other books in the series. I am doing the review because I often find it hard to select gifts for children that have Autism. They cannot tell you what gift they want Which often leaves to you buying a gift and hoping it is something they take to

I am pushing pretty hard for my 4mo to be the next Neil DeGrasse-Tyson, and when I saw this book and the Astro-Physics for Babies books appear in the daily deals - I jumped on it. First of all, I absolutely love the concept and the design is really cute. It's easy to read, and can be read in a bed-time scenario. I think I got through D is for Dark Matter when my little one started to get sleepy :) I think these are really great for learning, and helps to develop a healthy curiosity for science at a young age. I have no doubt these books will grow with my daughter, and I'm excited to see if she does take interest in all things space!

A brief description 4. A detailed explanation What's also cool is that some items in this book link up to concepts in other books, so when the kids get older, they can connect ideas

Amazing to spark an interest of a child

Adoro todos os livros do Chris Ferrie, são lindos e simples, mas com um conhecimento precioso e fascinante, passado de uma forma lúdica e única. Queria que esses livros existissem quando eu era bebê. Sorte do meu bebê que terá todos eles... Os ABC's são fantásticos, com a ideia do conhecimento ser expandido a cada etapa. Uma pena não haver tradução para o português, eu compraria todos de novo.

Je suis devenu un vrai fan de ces livres, tout comme mon fils. Bien qu'il soit encore un peu jeune pour en profiter pleinement, ils commencent très simplement et je suis convaincu qu'ils l'aideront à travers les premières étapes de la scolarité. Chaque livre de la série part du même point conceptuel d'une «balle», quelque chose auquel la plupart des enfants peuvent s'identifier, et dans la plupart des cas, vous pouvez en trouver un autour de la maison pour aider à visualiser davantage le contenu. La fin du livre peut être un peu complexe même pour les adultes mais cela n'empêche pas mon fils de m'aimer essayer d'expliquer ce qui se passe. Although he is still a bit young to fully enjoy them, they start very simple, and I am convinced they will help him through the early stages of schooling. Each book in the series starts from the same concept point of a “ball” , something that most children can relate to, and in most cases you can find one around the house to help further visualize the content. The ending of the book can be a bit complex even for the adults but that doesnt stop my son from loving me try to explain what is happening. Good: - Clever books for children and adults - Educational whilst fun - Consistent theme throughout the series Bad: - I'm not sure even I understand. I fully recommend this book and the others in the series to any parent or guardian.
