Easy to assemble and a very sturdy 😊

My shower is small without a huge floor space, so I was looking for a nice, small wooden bench. I love this one! The color is perfect, it fits nicely in the back of the shower, and the purpose for which I wanted it, to shave my legs, and dry off after my shower, is so much easier now. The bench is sturdy, no wobbles, and feels hefty enough to not rock or tip with a foot up on it, or for sitting. This was a great find, and a good purchase. I highly recommend this bench.AFTER FURTHER USE…After using the bench for a while, I’d like to add that it gets very moldy in a very short time. The legs, under the seat, and between the slats. I get that it could be cleaned somehow, but the mold originates in the cracks of the construction. It can’t be fixed. I don’t recommend this bench for shower use. The mold doesn’t come off once there. I’m delegating this bench to the garden to sit on while pruning. It’s not house worthy after a short time. Advice…look for teakwood instead.

It looks good. It's sturdy & it was easy to put together!

I bought the 16” bench and am totally impressed! Had to be an engineer that designed this. The top of the bench with all its mitered corners comes pre-assembled, so all you have to do is add the legs and bottom shelf. The directions are concise and easy to follow, and the tool is included.Even the packaging is expertly done with no waste. You can tell they are actually wanting pleased customers, because they included an extra piece for each hardware, including an extra bumper for the bottom of the leg.Absolutely EASY TO ASSEMBLE , and I know it’s going to last for years. Kudos to the company.

I bought this stool because my previous plastic and tubing one was breaking after only 3 weeks. I was concerned after reading reviews about mold and mildew. Although the finish could be better, this has worked perfectly for me. I am a larger woman and it is a good size. I have not had any mold or mildew but I do take about 2 minutes to wipe it down quickly and I usually leave it out of the shower for a couple of hours so it is completely dry. I have tightened the screws two times in 4 months, just for good measure. It is sturdy and I am very happy with my purchase.Edit: This is about a year after my original review. I still love this shower bench and just ordered another one. Unfortunately, I didn't keep drying it off, and the screws that hold the shelf in place and provide stability rusted and wouldn't tighten, so I needed to replace them. I just received my new bench, and I hope to replace the screws with stainless steel screws to prevent rust. In the meantime, I will be sure to dry it off around the screws.

So I’ve had this for about 4- months now. I really like it: nice size, cute, and sturdy. But my goodness, the black mold sucks. It needs weekly disinfecting and needs to dry.. well, in a dry place. Not the shower. I would not recommend this product for the shower. I will be buying the ugly plastic one!!
