Any leader or wanting to lead must read!
Great lessons! Lots of golden nuggets to take w me on my leadership journey. Nehemiah's leadership trajectory brought me closer to God and helped me ask for direction and look within myself to be a better leader at work. Highly recommend!

Not for nails
Not that adorable my nails are long and I kept piercing it after second wearing. They would’ve been great if I had not long nails so I’m still giving it a decent mark.

great book on Nehemiah
This is one of those books you buy because you are studying the topic of the book in a grad school class, but you find out it is a great book to read. Used it to write a research paper on Nehemiah, but read it front to back because it was so good. My professor first said it was not scholarly enough for a source in my paper but I asked him to look through it and he changed his mind, and told me I could use it because it covered the assigned topic, leadership skills of Nehemiah, so well.

In-depth look at Nehemiah
It provides a good amount of depth to Nehemiah's story. It's an easy read with some nice real life examples. The main takeaway I received was to persevere through difficult times as a leader, to not be afraid of confrontation, and that even the harshest of leaders have their heart in God's control. Don't hate your boss. Pray to God instead.
