i cant take this knife out of its sheath any idea why?

Easy tip for these sheathes is to hold the handle as to wield the knife and push the sheathe away with your thumb whilst pulling it out.

Does the sheath have a clip on the back? None of the photos ever show the back. Thanks.

No, there is no "clip" on the back. There is, however, a snap on the backside of the belt loop. This allows you to put the sheath on, and remove it from, your belt without having to go through the hassle off removing your belt, threading it through the belt loop, and rethreading your belt in your pants. The snap is a good, heavy duty snap that snaps securely. Hope this helps.

Can you strike a spark with flint off the spine of this product in emergency situations?
