I bought these because my coonhound is getting older and I noticed that her occasional tears began turning her white fur around her eyes a bit reddish. I was concerned these pads might burn or cause my older dog unnecessary discomfort, so... I tried these on myself first! I'm admitting it! I know they are not meant for humans... but most of the ingredients - other than the "preservative and optical brightener" - are in human skincare products. So, I can say without a doubt that these do not hurt. Under my eyes was a little puffy and my dark circles were definitely optically brightened, but they didn't hurt. And so I used these on my dog and the redness dissipated successfully after a few uses. I would not recommend these for humans though :) P.S. I do not have any allergies that I know of.

These are the best eye wipes for tear stains. It really softens them up and makes it easy to get the eye goop out of my puppy eyes and doesn’t irritate him.

These do seem to help thin out the gunk and remove some of the tear stains. They don't wipe away all of the stains or remove all of the junk. Paired with a very fine-toothed comb, they do some good. These wipes don't bother our pet's eyes. They are easy to use, and you get quite a few for your money. We use them daily. No sign of skin irritation.

I have used several methods to get rid of the tear stains and gunk from my dogs face so I was skeptical. I was pleasantly surprised. My dog is a Coton….very white, small dog. She didn’t mind me using these wipes. Very gentle and doesn’t irritate her eyes.

These things don't irritate my dog at all, she loves when I wipe her eyes every morning. It doesn't do much to get rid of the stains at first, but it stops her from tearing up in the first place, which is mind blowing. All her stained hair was grown out and cut off. She had such bad staining it wouldn't take long for her face to get gross and now she's clean. This is my second time buying it, I highly recommend it.

This item does nothing to help with the tear stains, do not waste your money. I was really thinking I would receive some relief for my English Bulldog, yet it did not do anything or better things. Please safe your money and do not buy this product. Do not be fooled by the label that says Veterinary Formula.

I finally found a product that really makes removing the eye gunk easy! This is an effective product, easy to use, and not too expensive and the pads are very damp, not too thin and can use both sides of pad and I can see the stain on the eye pads which is proof it works and those eye bugers dissolve away quickly ! My dog white dog has never liked me messing with the eyes, but this is fast and painless has helped greatly! I have not taken pictures but I should!
