Best $20 mechanical keyboard (don’t buy gateron switches…Outemu switches ONLY for this)
**EDIT #3 - Check out the video for sound test…I’ve done quite a few mods but I now absolutely love this keyboard. Sure I’m positive there are cooler looking and better sounding but for the money I’ve spent and time invested I think it sounds & looks amazing! Tape modded, hand lubed the switches, rubber o-rings on keycaps, added sound deadening under PCB, I believe that’s everything I’ve done but I could be missing a mod or two.**EDIT #2 - Do NOT BUY Gateron Switches and expect them to fit this. I bought some green switches and no matter what you do they will not fit and the pins will just bend. Short of shaving down one pin on every switch which I really don’t want to I don’t see a way to use them. The first photo of the switches up close is the gateron and the second is the switches that came with it. The pin on the left kind of mushrooms out at the end and I believe that’s why it just keeps bending instead of going into the hole on the board.**EDIT #1 - So I bought new switches (Gateron Green) for this and I’m not sure they will work with this board. Look at my photos and you will see that the switches that come with the board are noticeably smaller than the standard size. Maybe I’m doing something wrong as I am new to this whole DIY keyboard stuff but something is not right so I’ve taken a star away for now. This is by far the best $20 mechanical keyboard you’ll find and I challenge you to find better. The lighting leaves a tad to be desired but other than that it’s great. I’m getting new switches for it soon and will update this review if that or anything else changes my opinion about the keyboard. I had a 65% board before this and felt it was just a tad too small so when I saw this on sale for $20 well I just had to pull the trigger and am so happy I did and I’m betting you will too.

Fantastic desk space saver
The media could not be loaded. This keyboard is wired via USB C and works perfectly the keys have a very clicky and mechanical feel to them the keyboard is perfectly responsive and I play games on it and type stories on it no problem it's very light and very portable if you were to want to take it with you no problem if you wanted to plug it into your phone via a USB cable you could do that also it doesn't feature a battery but it would be powered by whatever you plugged it into it's also very small being 75 or less percent of the size of a full keyboard and will save you a lot of space on your desk I personally got mine to make room for my flight stick

RGB bummer
I like the keyboard it’s not bad, but the one downside to it is it’s STUCK with the rainbow rgb… the only change it has is the direction the lights go in. There is no solid color option. However if you like the colors you’re fine, it’s really not a huge dealbreaker for me but it’s just a bit of a bummer. It’s my own fault for not digging deeper into the reviews. Other than that, for the price, it ain’t bad.

TERRIBLE BEGINNER HOT SWAP KEYBOARD
The media could not be loaded. Sounds alright, have good LED, easy to disassemble the switches to lube. BUT I have so many cons about this keyboard and have inquired myself making it work as a customizable keyboard. 1.) Hard to pull switches out and any other switch than the original will not/hard to fit cuz the og is smaller than standard switches. 2.) The right side of the keyboard is hard to put the switch back on, hence caused injuries just to push it back. 3.) The build only have a board and plastic, there is no foam between the PCB. There's a lot barely and weight and hollow. In general, would never recommend this for anyone looking forward for a customizable keyboard. Other than that, it does its job just for being a keyboard.

Seriously impressed
This is my 5th mechanical keyboard and first product from Newmen and I will be back for more in the future. My usual brand has been keychron (with browns) but I will admit that this is easily my favorite keyboard. I have the red switches and there is a certain toned-down but clicky softness when it comes to typing. I had an old Das keyboard with red cherry switches and it was really loud and crisp, but I like this much better as you get the feedback you want but less than half the noise. I love that the arrows are a bit separated from the main keys (same for the F keys), and the volume knob is a game changer, especially since I'm in a small room with a window a/c unit that's constantly cycling on, so I'm constantly adjusting the knob. The knob feels really high quality and has that crisp click (inaudible) when you turn it. Pressing down mutes and unmutes. It does have nice lighting too, but that's not usually a big deal to me. I really couldn't ask for more in a keyboard, especially for the price. I have not attempted to swap any keys, but that's also not usually my thing.
