Another winner from Ilia. This saturated color hydrating lip crayon is so versatile and has great staying power. The matte finish is great on its own, but its superpower is being the base for the blend of several colors/products (I like to customize). Keeps everything in place longer and harmonizes with other lip products opening up a whole world of lip color creation. Looks better after several hours of wear than lots of long-last lip color. Fades in a way that looks more subtle — less old lady blotchy — than matte color usually offers. Add lip balm over it at the end of the day to bring a more subtle final life to it. After first applying it, let it sit for a couple minutes to melt into your lips and open up the color. Worth the price for solid hydration, great coverage, and smudge resistance after it sets. Easy application and forgiving for first minute, letting you clean up your lines before it clings to the skin.

I love this lipstick. Ilia is one of my favourite brands and this lipstick is great, creamy, hudrating and stays long even when I drink water. It is a nice mauve colour with some terracotta tones. Super easy to apply and to store in your purse.

I love this lip pencil color. I went to Ulta and looked at the other colors and still love Rhyme the best. I don’t love sharpen it, but it stays on really good and has a really pretty color.

I am in love with these lip crayons, and I'm a very minimal makeup wearer, so that's saying a lot. I sometimes find myself reaching for these even when I'm just kicking it around the house and my lips feel dry. I have a very distinct cupids bow, so I find this easier to apply neatly than a typical tube lipstick. I love the matte lip look, can't stand wet looking lips, so I was so pleased to see this whole line of beautiful matte colors. My one con is that after buying 5 different colors, the only one that looks good on my cool toned skin is Pink Door. Banquette is ok, but still a little too brownish for me. A lot of these colors have a strong brown undertone that looks great on warm toned skins (you'll notice all the models have warmer skin tones), but doesn't look great on me. But Ilia appears to be adding more colors to the line up, so hopefully they'll bring out more cool toned colors in the future.

These are amazing pencils. They line perfectly yet they are very smooth and soft on your lips when you apply it. And they do stay on all day long. I have already bought three of them. And plan to buy more. Best product ever!

I actually love the product itself, and the color is fantastic. It’s soft, and although it doesn’t stay on long, I still enjoy it. However, the lid consistently comes off, leaving my purse a mess.

I went to purchase this originally from Sephora. I wanted something moisturizing and I wanted a specific color..Banquette. I just did not know how it would look on my face. Someone from Sephora told me that another brand works better and encouraged another color (more orangey, to enhance my warm face.) I was SO UNHAPPY with it. It was drying and way too matte, like colored chalk on your lips. So I took the gamble and ordered it through Amazon. I love the crayon concept, for me it is easier to carry around. The color is gorgeous! It glides nice and is not too matte. AND it is moisturizing. And it makes me feel lovely, no thin lips for me! I hope this review helps!

I have two of these Ilia hydrating crayons and they are fairly hydrating for this type of lip pencil! This red is the perfect red. I feel it is neutral (not too warm or cool). It stays on pretty well, but if you are eating or drinking a lot I would throw it in your purse or by a second one for leaving in your purse. I like it best with a bit of gloss over the top.
