Opening and closing this, you can hear/feel the seal and the hinges close with a very satisfying click that tells you your stuff is safe. I will say about the hinges: when I first got it, I felt like there was a major design flaw in the hinges in that they can come off of the unit somewhat easily. However, I realize that is a good thing. Whether or not it is intentional in the design, I think it allows for less likelihood of damage if they are mistreated (like my dropping it all the time). It feels odd to say that this has become a big part of my daily recovery but its true. I have no issues fitting 30-90 day supplies of my prescription medications in the compartments. I’ve never had an issue with spills or pills migrating from one compartment to the next. I appreciate that it latches on three sides (hinged on the fourth). I loved this so much, I bought a second one for vitamins & supplements. I used my label maker to label each compartment with the med name and strength. Filling my weekly medicine organizer is much faster with my meds stored in this! I do keep my prescription receipts with the med names, doses, expiration, etc with the organizer.
