Nice quality, easy to use and versatile. Great value, bought a second set. The size large holds 6 pair of women’s pants/leggings and 8 shirts. Takes 1/4 of carry on suitcase with room to stuff things in the corners. Easily getting 30% more packing space. I will be able to pack for a 10 day trip to Hawaii in one carryon and backpack.

I used the Gonex Compression Packing Cubes (4-piece set) on my trip to LA, and they were a total game-changer. I fit 7 full days of outfits plus 2 extra outfits and all my toiletries into a small carry-on suitcase; something I’ve never been able to do before. The compression zippers really work, flattening everything down without wrinkling my clothes too badly. The cubes kept everything organized, so I could just pull out what I needed each day instead of digging through my bag. Durable, lightweight, and surprisingly roomy. I’ll never travel without them again!

I recently used these compression packing cubes for a week-long trip, and while I'm not entirely convinced they saved a significant amount of space, they were incredibly helpful for organizing the contents of my luggage. A major plus was their ability to separate clean and dirty clothes throughout the trip, which made unpacking much easier. Each cube holds a nice amount of clothing, too. I've only used them once, so I can't speak to their long-term durability just yet, but the quality appears to be good so far. Overall, if you're looking to keep your suitcase tidy and your clothes sorted, these are definitely worth considering!

1. Very inexpensive for the bag count. 2. Very high quality irrespective of pricing. 3. In between typical polyester weaves and the ultralights in terms of fabric thickness; I’d call them a worthwhile upgrade in sturdiness compared to the fabrics that are so thin they are translucent. 4. Zippers seem high quality (use your thumb or finger between zipper panel and cube wall while compression zipping to avoid snags). 5. These might compress the center of an ultralight down jacket, but DON’T compress the central portion of clothing that is already pretty flattened out or thin, such as polo shirts and cargo shorts. 6. WHAT THEY DO EXCEEDINGLY WELL is compress along all four edges which stops “contents sag” - regular cubes aren’t tight enough and my contents used to shift and sag to the cube bottom, defeating the used of cubes upright in my day packs. 7. A selection of colors helps code contents, if the variations in sizes aren’t enough to do that. Only Possibly Significant Negative: Except for maybe “vacuum” sack packing cubes, all edge-zipper style packing cubes sill only slightly compress the contents away from the perimeter, while significantly narrowing the perimeter. This means shifting is stopped, but the cubes leave rounded off edges with some waste space on the sides of my packs. Of course we are never lucky enough to have perfectly matching sizes of cubes to packs, and most are tapered on top of that, so you’ll have to figure out what to do with the resulting dead spaces here and there. A minor complaint: the cubes don’t open as wide as I’d like, so I have feel the fit as I fold and add layers to them. “Secret” bonus benefit off packing cubes in general: If you have to rummage during a security secondary inspection, having stuff in cubes makes repacking MUCH easier, on the fly and in a hurry. I’ve never been asked to unzip a cube when, for example, they are looking for a forgotten water bottle or power cube (they just feel the cube contents by hand without an unzip, assuming they find the questionable object the x-ray scanner highlighted.

These packing cubes are of good quality I ordered 2 sets. The zippers are sturdy and so is the material. I was able to compress two warm jackets in a Large size cube with room to spare. On my trip home I compressed all of our dirty laundry, the cubes fit into the luggage and I used my carry on for souvenirs. Great buy!

Love this item. I used the large one and put my clothes for 4 days in it and it all fit in the personal item purse (minus jeans as i always wear the bulky stuff). I have used the medium one as well for a 4 day trip. Packed 4 rompers, undergarments and a couple tshirts and nightgown in it and took the same personal item purse with me. Absolutely no issues. Compresses enough packs away easily great quality as i was afraid it would rip and it def held well. I love this for traveling!

Perhaps my expectations were not as they should be, but I thought that by purchasing "compression" cubes, I would actually be able to put items in the cubes and compress them down so that they took up less space in my suitcase. Not the case with these bags. I actually read all the online reviews for countless compression bags before ordering these. Not only that, but I did a search for Best Compression Packing Cubes 2023 and read three different articles, all of which highly recommended these Gonex Compression Packing Cubes. One of the reviews I read was from a lady who'd packed ten pairs of jeans in the large bag. So when I received mine I rolled up ten pairs of jeans and tried putting them in the large bag. Yes, they did fit, but they did not compress even the slightest bit. In fact, the second zipper that's supposed to "compress" the contents would barely zip and even after it was zipped, the bag was the same size it was originally although a slightly different shape. I will say that the bags appear to be well made. They were lightweight material yet seems to be sturdy. The zippers seemed good quality. As I mentioned, I was able to get ten pairs of rolled up jeans (size 8) in the large bag, but no space saved. These would be excellent for someone only looking to organize their suitcase, but if you truly want to compress items, I can't recommend these.

These compression packing cubes work very well, saves space in the suitcase and keeps clothes organized.

Bags open up and then when you use double zips they compress the contents makes for a tidy suitcase/bag wish they had a label area so you know what’s what

I bought these packing cubes to use in my “personal item” bag to avoid having to take a carry on and be charged extra. I was very pleased with them. I used the two smaller ones and they worked perfectly in my small backpack. The material seems very sturdy and the zippers are strong. They compact very well and keep everything tidy. The larger cubes were too big to use in my small bag but I would definitely use them in a carry on or larger suitcase if I ever had to. With airlines charging for every little thing now, I will be travelling only with a personal item whenever I can. It saves money and time.
