Got this when Amazon had it on sale and thought it would be fun to do. So, I ordered it. It was not the easiest thing to do, but it was very fun. Took a bit of figuring it out, but the instructions were pretty good. Will be ordering more of these!! BTW, it is not really a toy. My 6 year old grandson saw it after I finished it and wanted to play with it. It is not durable for play time. More of a decoration item.

My son loved it, now I have to buy all the others in this collection. The light is beautiful and my son uses it for a night lamp.

So far sge loves it. It keeps her mind busy.

I had pretty low expectations for this based on the price and with a few reviews, but I was seriously impressed when I got this and put it together.Snapped together well, no broken pieces, it took a while to put together, but that's the point. This is great to keep your hands and mind busy.I hope I can find more like this one. Looks great on my desk, and it's a reasonable size when put together. Big enough to see the details but small enough to not take over the desk.Included picture shows the size comparison vs a LEGO speed car

I enjoyed putting this together. I got the book nooks with this train car in it and then saw this and had to do it. It has a USB connection to light the interior light. Attached pics of the two book nooks with the train in them. They were fun to do too. I recommend this one.

Got this as a gift for my boyfriend, he had a great time putting it together.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love building these and Book Nooks. I purchased this on Amazon seeing how it was cheaper than the Japanese store near my place. Maybe that’s where the difference is in price.1- it comes with NO GLUE or TOOLS. So make sure you have extra glue, tool for the screws and a something to help you place the pieces in their holes.2- you are suppose to snack the pieces out, but you need to be extremely careful! The piece are much thinner than others I’ve built. Doesn’t matter the size, they tend to snack quickly. They do make sure to provide spare parts. This must be why.3- be very careful with the railroad signs. They break when trying to pop them out and when putting them into the base, they bend easily. I found, sanding the base of each post that has to slide into each other down a bit. It makes pushing it into the base easier and less likely to break. I still have one sign drying with glue due to this. I also have one side guard in the back drying and held down with tape. The part that wraps around the corner on the base is very flimsy and snaps easily. Be careful!3- does not run off batteries but a C plug instead!Over all it was fun and frustrating to do at the same time. The end result is beautiful and I do recommend trying one of these if you are interested. Just try one maybe NOT from Amazon or this particular one. Very cheaply made. Not sturdy like my other ones once finished.
