The best key holder I have used, by FAR!
***UPDATE AT BOTTOM*** I purchased this Lucky Line Secure-A-Key earlier this month and have been using it for the last couple weeks and I love it! As you can see from my pics, I have to carry a lot of keys for my job (and those are just my everyday carry keys), so needless to say I need a reliable method of carrying them close at hand. Before this product, I was using a Nite Ize "S-Biner Ahhh" to carry my keys at the 2 o'clock position on my belt loop. While the Nite Ize cost me about the same price, it was nowhere near as good of a product (for what I needed) as this Lucky Line clip. My belt loop began to rip off, the keys hung too low and rubbed against my thigh (eventually wearing a hole in my pant leg), and the springing clip didn't always close (causing me to drop keys constantly). Now with the Lucky Line clip, I can wear it anywhere on my belt, so I was able to place it where it felt most comfortable (not dependent on hanging from my belt loops). Plus, the key holding hook is small enough to keep my keys in a tight bunch instead of spreading out, yet has enough room for me to move them around in order to grab a set of keys from the back without removing them all first. This has also kept the keys from swinging as I walk, so as to not wear anymore holes in my jeans. I use a 1 1/2" belt that this clip slips right over and stays in place, nice and tight. As per my job, I am constantly taking the keys off and putting them back onto the clip, averaging about 50 times per day. This means that I get a lot of use out of the tension rod holding the keys on, but I have not had any problems with it losing its strength. It always springs right back to where it is supposed to be, keeping my keys where they need to be. Since I have only had this product a couple of weeks, it's hard to tell how well it will stand up in the long run, but I will post an update in a few months to let everyone know how it's doing. *UPDATE* I ended up using this key holder for about a year before I moved and left my job, so I no longer need to carry that many keys. I can tell you that this held up and the clip was still holding strong. I would bump this down to 4.5 stars if I could for one reason only: The back side of this clip has a lip that pushes against your pants (I am assuming to prevent the key clip from sliding along your belt), and after a few months, this lip tore a hole in my pants due to its sharp edge. It actually did this to two pairs of work pants that I used every week. The keys remained secure and it did its job, so I don't think it deserves to be dropped down to 4 stars, but I did want to make sure this negative was noted for others. I was still happy with my purchase but wish it had a rubber coating or something on that lip to prevent the damage.

FINALLY - a belt key holder that actually works!
Years ago I decided not to carry anything in my hip pockets for reasons including ergonomics (bad for back to sit on a wallet bulge all day) and safety (pickpocketing a hip pocket is easy, and pants manufacturers persist in being too dumb to make good-looking pants with a zippered safety pocket or better, two). Carrying a phone and wallet every day, that takes up my two front pockets. I don't want to carry even one or two keys in there, because scratched screen or uncomfortable bulges in my pocket (OK, get your mind out of the gutter now). So for years I've been trying to find a way to carry a couple of keys - a car key, a house key, and one or two others - in a quickly accessible way where any individual key is quickly available, and I can also quickly take off the whole set of keys. I've gone through many karabiners, only to find consistently that they either a) distort and break quickly and/or b) shred my belt loops because the karabiner movable arm has a sharp opening to latch into the body of the karabiner, but this also catches on fabric and rips threads out. Then I found and tried this, and I am FINALLY delighted at a simple keyring. This one is perfect for me because: 1. It looks great - shiny steel, and not that big. 2. It doesn't cut into my belt, and because it's not a closed loop but an open clip, it will fit onto any width belt. 3. It clips onto my belt securely. It won't come off unless you give it a real good tug like you mean it. 4. It can hold several keys on individual key rings. 5. I can pull off any key I want - I don't have to pull them off in reverse order of adding them onto the ring. 6. The spring latch is stiff enough to be secure, but light enough that I can push it in and pull out a key with one hand. 7. It doesn't require a belt loop, whereas a karabiner does. That means I can attach it to my belt anywhere, not just in one of 6 or 8 points around my waist. An effusive review for an item that only costs a few dollars? Yes - because many times a day, it makes what always used to be a little annoyance (caught on belt loop again...) into an easy, quick task with one hand. (Again... get your mind out of the gutter.) If, like me, you need a way to carry around a few keys and pockets aren't practical - try this one out.

The original is the best!
Great way to keep your keys secure and accessible. I used many similar copies of this product, but nothing compares to the original. The product feels well-made and has a good retention clip. No worries about losing your keys, and it is easy to clip and remove. No more reason to be digging into your pockets. Great product, well recommended.

Great Solution at a Great Price
This key clip is perfect for my needs. It clips in my jeans, pants, or belt with ease and stays on all day. I can easily unclip my keys and the clip stays securely in place.

Durable and worth the money I spent!
This makes things a lot easier at work to secure my work keys. I use it daily. It’s durable and strong and the clip provides a tight grip.

Design has changed from the product photos
They've changed how the clip looks/works from the product images/videos. It appears that the clip can be slid over belts and pants, as the video demonstrates, but the new design only allows you to weave a belt through. There is no "clip" part anymore. It'll still work, but I kind of have to bend it to make do now.
