Works great
We have a above ground pool and I wanted something to learn me if something fell in the pool This thing is extremely loud louder than a house alarm.It goes off outside and inside.

Trash - zero stars
Absolutely useless and the slightest breeze sets off the alarm. Do not waste your time or money with this. I purchased 2 and the return window closed relatively fast, so I’m stuck with two pieces of rubbish that I will never use again.

Necessary addition with children
With 3 active grandchildren, we needed this added protection. The alarm is loud and the different settings allow the alarm to be turned off when the children aren't visiting.

Worked like a charm!
This pool alarm was a great addition to our pool this summer, and gave us an added layer of security with our toddler running around.The alarm is rather intuitive to set up once you've read and understand the instructions. The alarm is definitely audible, and - whereas we had a couple errant alarms through a couple months - the overall sensitivity seems very reasonable, and I can't deny that we had it slightly "rigged" in an inflatable pool by sitting a chair in the center and strapping this to it. So, some of any "issues" I may have had were likely on me. PLUS, it's a dinky inflatable pool that moved a lot in the wind anyway.The battery compartment houses all of the batteries securely, but be careful when removing it, as I broke ours and now I need to find a replacement.For a temporary or permanent installation, it seems that this pump is up to the task of keeping an eye on your moving water. Piece of mind or not, it seems that anyone with children should have this installed!

Alarm goes off every 10 minutes.
Purchased this for my above ground pool and unfortunately it’s completely useless. Even when nobody is around the pool, the alarm constantly goes off. Even in swim mode, when it’s not supposed to go off, it does. Defeats the whole purpose of having a pool alarm.

Works for our pool, not the pond. We have too many ducks for it to work on our pond. Affords peace of mind.
