SUUNTO Race S

I did a lot of research in order to choose the watch I thought was right for me, narrowing down to the Suunto Race S and another leading brand. I wanted a watch with a fitness tracking, mapping function, a watch face that is not too large as I have small wrists and not too expensive. My research also included the ease of importing a GPX file. I am really happy with my choice. The watch was easy to set up; it isn't huge on my wrist; there is a comprehensive user friendly manual via the Suunto App; I could download regional maps via the Suunto App to my watch and importing a GPX file from my OS App to my watch was incredibly easy. Needless to say I am very happy.

This is a game changer. The off line maps is brilliant . I don't use it as smart watch only for tracking sleep and exercise and the battery life is outstanding i took it on holiday for 4 days using it every day and on two 10 mile runs and it still had over 50% charge at the end of the holiday. The app is very user friendly and gives some great info to more deep dive your perform. For the price point I think this is hard to beat.

It’s not a bad watch but it’s really not good enough for the £300 price. I expect a watch at that price to do everything but it doesn’t. I have an Honor gs pro which cost less than£200 and it is much better. It has track back so if you set a workout it will take you back to the start. Battery life is 3 weeks and it has an extremely bright face with many options. Do your research and don’t get fooled by many reviews on You Tube. They get paid for promotion products.

Overall a great watch for the price. Has the features that you want and need at some that you would not expect at this price point. I replaced the band but that has to do with personal preference rather than function. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone that is looking for a reasonably priced smart watch synchronise is really well with the app whether it’s on iPhone or on android.

Changed from apple watch to this one. Love the design, simplicity and workout/exercise info and guidance. + battery life. Hr sensor very accurate for me as well. ( treadmill running, cycling, sleeping ) I strongly recommend if you are considering to get one.

Fantastische sportwatch! Lange batterij duur en een batterij welke zeer snel oplaadt! Duidelijk en goed zichtbaar scherm tijdens het sporten. Dankzij de druktoetsen op zij kun je ook met handschoenen het uurwerk bedienen en dit is een groot voordeel! De metingen van hartslag, afstand, stappen en dergelijke zijn uiterst betrouwbaar! Verder is de app van Suunto zeer overzichtelijk! Geweldige aankoop

Très belle montre pour le prix, très complète ( carte, capteurs, gps double bande...). Les 45mn sont largement suffisants. Utlisable en montre de tous les jours ( assez discrète). Les différents écrans, téléchargeables, sont très sympas. Tout est personnalisable, directement via la montre ou l'appli ( qui est hyper complète, directement sur le téléphone). Une vraie Suunto, pour les afficionados de la marque. Mise à jour identique aux autres modèles. Malgré ses options pléthoriques, facile à prendre en main. Comme un smartphone, achetez un verre de protection ( ou mieux, une coque). L'autonomie est largement suffisante pour la très grande majorité des sportifs ( même un trek de 2/3 jours). Un très joli joujou, à un peu plus de 300€

Diseño: Ligero y con mucha personalidad El Suunto Race S es de esos relojes que ves y te dan ganas de probártelos al momento. Su diseño es bastante minimalista y moderno, ideal si te van los gadgets cómodos y discretos, sin renunciar a un toque deportivo. Lo mejor es que no es gigantesco, ni pesado, así que queda bien en muñecas pequeñas y no molesta para nada cuando corres, nadas o entrenas fuerte. Además, los colores y la correa le dan ese toque para llevarlo en el día a día sin que cante que es un “reloj para machacas”. Funciones deportivas: Todo lo que necesitas, sin enredos Donde el Race S realmente destaca es en lo suyo: seguir tus entrenamientos y ayudarte a mejorar. Tienes perfiles para casi cualquier deporte que imagines, desde running y ciclismo hasta triatlón o yoga. El GPS es preciso (lo que siempre se agradece, sobre todo si corres en zonas complicadas o te gusta perderte por el monte) y la medición de frecuencia cardíaca es fiable sin tener que apretar el reloj hasta dejar marca. Te monta resúmenes claros de tus sesiones, y puedes analizar todo fácilmente desde el móvil o el ordenador. Punto extra: las métricas se entienden al vuelo. Aquí no hay menús locos ni términos confusos. Si eres de los que empieza a correr o de los que lleva años haciéndolo, el Race S se adapta bien a tu nivel. Batería y extras: Olvídate de cargarlo cada dos por tres Uno de sus puntos fuertes es la autonomía. Puedes irte de escapada de varios días sin cargar el reloj, incluso usando el GPS a menudo. Eso sí, si te vuelves loco usando todo a máxima potencia, vas a notar que aguanta menos, pero en uso normal da mucha más tranquilidad que otros modelos del estilo. Tiene funciones interesantes extra: control del sueño, monitor de estrés y compatibilidad con apps para pagar o recibir notificaciones. No apunta tanto al “rollo smartwatch de oficina” como otros modelos, pero cumple bien para los que buscan un reloj ante todo deportivo. ¿Para quién es el Race S? Si quieres un reloj para entrenar en serio, que no parezca un ladrillo y que además se vea bien, el Suunto Race S es una opción que no decepciona. Es fácil de usar, minimalista en diseño y va directo a lo que importa: medir tu actividad sin distracciones. Ideal para runners, triatletas o cualquier amante del deporte que prefiera la sencillez potente a la parafernalia digital.
