One face of each rail section (that needed such) has threaded bolt holes. Each leg has threaded studs, each gets a plastic washer, and the legs join everything together. It took me about 10 minutes to assemble solo while fending off a playful 90-lb puppy. Another 10 minutes and the bed was reassembled and made.
