Plugs into car and is powered, even though it has a USB-C port as well but the manual gives no use for it, and this is too lightweight to carry an internal battery. Clear display screen and easy enough navigating functions, not all of which are going to be supported by every car of course. Could read car details, telemetry, battery state and more. Handy for mechanics or anyone curious about car warning messages. Having also used a Bluetooth dongle and phone app, can say that this is more convenient to use for diagnostic work, though if wanting live monitoring when driving then the cable length is a bit restrictive depending on where the port is located in the car.

Plugged it in and it worked, All be it, Very Basically. However not as promised, does not Switch of service light, and did not even see a problem. Even though I could see with my own eyes, there was a problem. A forever orange Engine problem light, on my dash. Does not do what it promises. I'd buy a slightly better, more expensive device, if you really need one of these on a daily basis.

All of the product is quite plasticy it does deliver to the promise. You can do Basic OBD diagnosis read voltage on battery search for codes and someone it also has a smaller range of different languages. It works straight after connecting to the car. I tried in the Mandel and Volkswagen to go on 2018. Very easy to navigate very easy to use.

So I got this hoping to track a couple of faults on my 2003 Peugeot. I have since learned from an owner of the same make and model car as mine that my car is not fully OBD2 compliant and that the scanner will not function on my car.I have seen the other great reviews for this scanner and understand that it is a good piece of kit. The fact that my car is too old to be fully OBD2 compliant was an oversight on my part and with this in mind I have rated the product positively in line with other reviewers.If I can find someone with a more up to date vehicle and who is willing to test the scanner on it, I will return to this review to update it.

I ordered this OBD2 diagnostic tool, to connect to our Citroën car, to look for any fault codes. It's sturdy device, with a good length of lead, it came with easy to follow instructions, and has a clear display that is easy to read.Having attached it to our car it powered up, and connected to the vehicles computer as expected, and thankfully showed no faults.Overall it appears to work as expected, so I am happy to recommend it.
