Does not work as advertised.
I bought this because a friend has a 3/4” size that works terrifically. I tried putting 5 gallons of gasoline into my riding lawn tractor. I had to keep shaking it to keep gas flowing. Even then there was just a trickle going thru. Would not recommend.

Just OK, takes a while to prime and the hose kinks
I got this to keep in my car emergency bag, in case I needed to siphon some gas. I tested it on some water but it took a while to prime and the marble did not make a great seal. Additionally the hose wanted to kink on itself.I like that this kind of siphon doesn't need a mouth to start it, and that it doesn't take a drill or heavy crank or power.It's cheap and there not much to be excited about.
