10,000 Games (PC CD)

VERY GOOD

I am forever having to get my son to sort this DVD for me. Not all the games load properly, and some not at all. Backgammon is good but that is probably the best!

Haha so many classics were on this that I loved! perfect!

Could only load half the games but still good value.

I have checked out most of this disc and found a problem with the 2002 games that is the first part to install on the loader it will install ok but when you run it only some of the game sets are being displayed on the 2002 launcher, however if you go to your programs folder and go to selectsoft/2002 Games and look in the one of the 8 games folders you can run the exe program of the games in there! There are lots of games to choose from so I like it and it would keep my kids happy for hours. Also found when closing down king solomon's lost mines there comes up an exception error but it does not effect the game play whatsoever! I will probably send my concerns to avanquest regarding these errors so they may have an update to fix these errors in the future!

Very poor in my opinion

10,000 games? Yeah, right. 10 games and 9990 variations more like. These are all low res rubbish games that were probably written 20 years ago. Some freeze, most don't have help files and you can't see game descriptions before you load them. The only (barely) decent game doesn't even keep high scores. I assumed I was getting games that were worthy of Vista/Windows 7 as that's the platforms quoted, but I'm sure I could have played any of these on my first Windows 3.1 PC. Back then they would have been a novelty, in 2010 they are just a total waste of money. This isn't even worth one star, but that's the lowest I can give. Avoid this CD!!!
