Incompatible avec VLAN Tagging en environnement virtualisé (TrueNAS, Proxmox, etc.)
J’ai acheté cette carte pour l’utiliser dans un serveur HP Proliant avec TrueNAS Scale (Debian/KVM en backend). La carte est reconnue comme une Intel 82599ES (X520-DA2 compatible), mais les VLAN taggés ne sont pas pris en charge correctement dans les machines virtuelles. Seuls les VLAN untagged fonctionnent. J’ai tout essayé : VirtIO, e1000, bridge, passthrough – sans succès. Firmware verrouillé / non flashable : impossible de mettre à jour le NVM via les outils Intel (nvmupdate64e). Il s'agit clairement d'une carte OEM rebadgée NICGIGA, et non d'une vraie Intel Retail. Si vous avez besoin de trunk VLAN, bridge avec tagging ou virtualisation réseau sérieuse, fuyez cette carte. Peut convenir pour usage simple bare-metal (Linux direct sans virtualisation), ou en mode untagged avec un seul VLAN.
